Yep, I just read an online description of a scorpio, I particularly relate to the loyalty bit.

I am a Virgo as mentioned in a previous post. In the Chinese system I am a Dog. I believe the description of the Dog found here also a good description of my personal traits.

I was born September 2, 1946 and am thus a Fire Dog under the system. The information below is those characteristics that are supposedly more accurate for Fire Dogs than other types of the sign.

Thanks Daffy, I am not certain I am fussy in the traditional way. There are some things in my life that I strongly desire to be the way I want them and clearly and often articulate my desires. so that might be fussy.

i am a scorpio too... i bet you would fit more with the description of the scorpio as eagle... i am slow to anger too, and i think part of it is i know how much emotional damage i am capable of when i am angry. so i have trained myself to be very allowing. it is a genuine allowing but, well, you get the idea.

i think i am a scorpio with aries rising.

the eagle understands its power to see very clearly, it has very good vision for great distances. it embodies freedom, courage and a different expression of power. (perhaps golden eagle was chosen because those birds are said to be fairly rare and this type of scorpio may seem unusual, meaning most people associate scorpio with the other form of expression.)

the scorpion or the snake is the symbol for the expression of scorpio that uses its power in a different way. or perhaps it learns of the ability to sting with great efficiency and it proceeds to use that ability on purpose (instead of just when it is feeling hurt or threatened).

Thanks, interesting, I hadn't ever heard of this, never been big on astrology...

I can remember when I was 18 and old enough to get a tattoo, I was thinking an eagle would fit me best, but never got around to it (not sure if I ever will)
