I'm gonna a certain young lady who's stopped returning my phone calls and show up at her door with flowers and chocolate. I hope that doesn't violate the restraining order.

I'm going to enjoy being single. And eat cookies.

And cross my fingers for some nice cards to boost my ego.

Aaw, she'll love that RT, thats so romantic! Say, you any good at dodging bullets?

As for me, this morning the g/f and I traded pressies (I chose well, for a change) and that got the day off to a promising start. When I get back from work, we're going to do some more celebrating at home. She has bought me salmon for dins (I love salmon very much. In fact I once proposed to a salmon, but that is a story for another time).

I wish everyone a wonderful valentines day.

I went a little overboard this year. I got my wife a dozen red roses, a heart of Fannie May candies and another basket of candies including dark chocolate (she's a big fan of that) with hazelnuts and mint as well as some licorice and licorice Altoids. We'll be going out to dinner this weekend when my parents can babysit our son overnight.

Default Spa day for two

Erin and I are celebrating Valentine's day by taking the rest of the day off and going to the new Qua spa at Caesar's Palace... where we'll get massages, soak in hot tubs, drink organic teas, and basically relax until we're reduced to puddles.

Living in Vegas must be nice. Instant fantasy-land whenever you want it. For Valentine's day in Detroit, we got 8" of snow!

Seriously, though, I've been to Vegas twice and enjoyed it very much. I think it would be fun to live there. Downtown Detroit's come a long way, but Vegas is much nicer.
