Default IM really sucks

Yesterday I was driving my girlfriend's car. We just got a full tank of gas and a car wash and were heading home. I was at the front of the left turn lane, waiting for the green arrow to let me go, when I thought to myself, "Wouldn't it suck if the car broke down right here?" Basically I thought about all of the other drivers honking and getting upset that the turn lane would have be rerouted.

Shortly afterwards, I noticed that the engine didn't seem to be running. I hit the gas and sure enough, there was no "Go". I turned the key, and I heard nothing but a series of clink-clink-clinks.

My girlfriend asked me what we should do, and I said, "Oh, hey, there is a police officer in the next lane over. I'll just wave him down, assuming he doesn't just drive off."

The light had just turned green, and he drove off.

So I said, "Intention manifestation sucks!" and sure enough...

Whats your point? You proved it worked. are yo utrying to debunk it by saying it does work???

It does what you ask. Like computers. They do exactly what you say. Yet when it goes wrong you blame the computer. Not yourself.

Akashic Librarian, I think gberardi was pointing out the amusing irony of noticing that you're 100% responsible for your reality.

gberardi, your story reminds me of the day I invented the possibility for myself and my life of being "On Fire!" and my car engine caught fire that afternoon. grrrrrrr. You get what you pay for!

That reminds me of this story when I started wondering whether tow trucks ever break down. Sure enough...

Lol, you have a very good point.

Funny story though. It could be suggested that you're own frustration at the events created one bad happening after another. That, of course, is the fundamental danger of IM.
