Another good one from Lucero;

YouTube - Lucero - Sweet Little Thing

It's great to find a band that resonates with your way of thinking / feeling, I guess..

I'd like to introduce an exceptional artist. I really like her voice, and I can listen to her music while driving on end without getting annoyed by it.

I picked out a handful of songs that depict some different "tastes" of songs she sings, and they belong to my favorites:

Loreena McKennitt - Bonny Portmore

Loreena McKennitt - All Souls Night

Loreena McKennitt - Greensleeves

Loreena McKennitt - The Highwayman

Loreena McKennitt - The Lady of Shalott

Think I'd heard the name.. I quite like em after trying them on youtube, but not sure about the vocals, sounds a bit English, more than American..

Reminds me of Wilco or Noah and the Whale a little bit. U know or like either of those bands?

I know Wilco, they're sort of indie royalty out here.

She's Canadian, actually. But her music truly is infused with Irish and Scottish folk, and has also picked up various influences from Turkey, Arabia, Spain, and many other places.

Actually I just re-read "The Highway man" and realised I was thinking "highlands"
whoops, I'd been having a conversation about Scotland.. great song still, I listened to about 3/5 of those songs
