Default Fave Candies That Have Met Their Demise

There's a few forums out there devoted to the subject, but that doesn't mean I can't add one here.

My own fave was Sour Bites, easy to find in the 80s in the U.S., but perhaps now gone forever. I miss them because they were like SweeTarts, only better tasting IMO and didn't rough up my tongue the way those other candies did.

They came in flat envelope-like packets, and each small tablet within bore the face of a cartoonish animal - lion (also on the package front), hippo, etc.

Oooh, how I miss them...

I don't remember the name but there used to be a mint which came in a metal can. The mint was white and it had a large X on each round mint. My great grandfather would always give them to the younger members of his family who came to see him and as children it was a very special treat.

If anyone remembers the name or knows if they are still available please do tell me. The last time I am sure they were available was almost forty years ago.

Default Liquid Cherry

Anyone familiar with Black Magic? It was/is a chocolate assortment.

Well, amongst the selection that had the 'liquid cherry' mmm.....trouble is my older brother was also keen to bag those ones....usually had to settle for strawberry.
Anyway, last time I had a box I discovered that Liquid Cherry is not more. Nooooo! I should write a letter.

Cheers,

Rob

I cannot find Cherry Sours anymore. Gummy cherry center with a hard cherry outer shell. Sold in $1.00 bags at the convienence store up the street from my house back in Pensacola. Used to pop those like air.
