I like to go on day hikes or do other adventurous things like dog sledding, zip lining, explore the beach, hang gliding (haven't done that yet but it's next on my list - hopefully soon!). I also love to read, cook, watch movies, do yoga, practice ballet, meditate... |

I'm into languages, studying Chinese and French now in China. Love reading and listening to anything and everything that peaks my curiousity. I start every morning at 6AM with a run by the ocean with my girlfriend. I love that. Communicating on Skype with my family. I also teach spoken English at a private school to adults. I enjoy greatly the creativity I can pour into my teachings but at the same time find it rather exhausting. I really enjoy chatting with positive open minded people. I'm into strategy games like Chess, Checkers, i-Go, Monopoly and so on. The list goes on and on... How about you Mike? |

Day to day: mostly read, watch netflix/ted.com, cuddle, hike/bike, listen to music, plan upcoming adventures (always trying something new), cook/eat, and nap This past weekend, among other things, my girlfriend and I went to a Greek festival where I had a giant leg of lamb, wondered over to another college where we hung out at a book store, had coffee with a couple friends still in school, went on to a "They Might be Giants" concert, and then the next day played paintball with 40+ people from a local meetup group. Good food, good friends, music/dance, books, and adventure sports. On another weekend we might go contra dancing, wake up the next morning and go fly a sailplane (hard wing version of a hang glider, with cockpit), have sushi, meditate at a Quaker meeting the next morning, then go hiking or canoeing. Meetup.com can be rather helpful for finding new things to do in the area, particularly if you're no longer in school. |

I agree with openeyes: Meetup.com is a good place to look for local people who like to do fun things. If anyone on this thread lives in New England and wants to go hang gliding you are more than welcome to join me! |

Obvioiusly I waste it. I do enjoy photography, reading anything and everything I become curious about but basically that is it. Not because of choice but because of limitations, even if they are self imposed ones. I'd love to take up a lot of things though.

Depends on the day and time of day. To list a few activities: Read books (mostly non-fiction). Take a medium-long bicycle ride. Play guitar. Listen to music. Work in the garden (vegetables, fruit, and flowers). Go somewhere new and take a hike in the backcountry. Visit with someone in a cafe, or visit with a neighbor. Do some metal work in my shop. Do some community volunteer work.
