Default plucked out of the Ether's

I literally plucked the name out of the Ether's. A creation of the moment. Not during the sign up at Pavlina forum, but for (if i remember correctly) some software that required registration at some other point in time. Alsy, as in "ALL", and the sy, is added. Which is sort of an Australian characteristic of modifying words. (sort of). After i created the name for use here in the forums i was contemplating changing it to something with meaning, such as urfree. (U R free; you are free). I then found out it was not doable, so i left it. Oh well. It is what it is, and it does not change who i am.

At the time the "ALL", was connected to ones existence. The ALLness that is the i am.

btw, my real name is Paul

EDIT/ addition just after i posted the reply;
Although i did not purposely create a meaning at the time, i can create a meaning that is a positive reminder. The name was born out of a spontaneous moment. In that moment, i am not operating out of my intellect, but it is out of my pure existence. The "allness". The totality of self. Living out of the "flow". It has been one of the hardest thing for me to do in my life, but when i have managed to do it, it feels so free, and so much happens for me that its just incredible. Truly. Some of my best expressions (including abstract work) has come out of it. So, that is a freshly created meaning that i wanted to share.

I first came up with sabrefist on a game design forum when I was about 12 (because sabrefish was taken and I didn't think about using saberfish.) I still use it sometimes but most of the time now I'll use a variation of my real name (e.g ScottIrvine, S.Irvine, SCI etc...)

Fullcrum derives from the word fulcrum, a mechanical physics term, which is the point of support on a lever where a lever pivots.

This relates to the concept of leverage. One way I look at my existence is as a being looking for the leverage point, the singularity where change happens. Kind of like Tony Robbins.

Two l's just makes me stylish

It's my name, Caren, and the two initials of my hyphenated last name. I am me wherever I go, and I'm living so as to have nothing to hide... so, me. I sometimes still get a twinge of when I post something somewhere, (my ex-husband just because my facebook friend, which links to my blog, blah, blah, blah) but I'm learning to go, "Hello, , so nice of you to visit. I'm just going to keep writing."

On some other forums, I'm dharmamama - because I look at parenting as my dharma, my teaching in this life to realize what I am.

Auspicious roughly means favorable, good, or prosperous. When you turn eight sideways it is the infinity symbol. Put together it means I favor the infinite.

YHN is actually a reference to a number of things. I first read the term in "A Clockwork Orange" but I've also heard it in "The Rake's Song" and it brings to mind the "Narrator" from the book/movie "Fight Club."

One thing they all share in common is that they're all magnificent bastards. Furthermore, they are usually misunderstood and enigmatic. They have an undeniable charisma; their smile lowers your guard and yet leaves you wondering if you've just stepped onto a spider's web. In the case of "A Clockwork Orange," the term is used in conjunction with culture and class. (For as much of a bastard as he was, you've got to admit Alex had good taste.)

I didn't find this out until after I made it, but numerologically it adds up to 11/2, which is also my birth number. Besides the energy associated with the traits above, I wanted it to embody the main part of myself and so it turns out that it does a better job than I'd intended.

I would agree, my own name of Erin sounds 'off' for me personally, most of my friends have a dozen nicknames and rarely use my real name (even though I have never mentioned the issue to them). If someone actually uses my name, even in writing, I have an almost automatic cringe. Never quite figured that one out. Just plain 'E' tends to be a common nickname, and I sign most of my emails as such once I know a person.
peace of the meadow -that's nice !

and
my middle name is Lee too-spelled differently though

Wow,
There are some interesting stories here...

My real name is Chris (Christopher actually, and it means Christ like, now if I could just walk on the water ). I used to work at a trust company (a bank) and there were three Chris's that hung out together. One was 6'5" and 450 pounds (dubbed Big Chris) and one that was 5'9" 210 pounds (dubbed Chris) and me 5'4" 175 pounds (dubbed Lil Chris)...

I chose mine after the movie Waking Life by Richard Linklater, an inspiring movie with so many concepts and artsy effects that could get anyone thinking.

it's perfect for anyone who checks these forums. you definitely need to pay attention though, and it's no chick flick.

some girls like cartoon philosophy don't they? lol

I found I don't have to pay attention it's just relax and let the information wash over you, which is 1 of 90843208 reasons I like the film

Star is my name when translated into English. It could also be Sun. But since 'Sunshine' is already taken, I just used 'Star' and 'Lovely', a word I hope people would use to describe me now when Im still alive and hopefully, after my death too.

i don't feel like my real name. when i was a publishing poet i used my first and middle initials. most girls i've met with the same name ... let's just say there isn't a sense of kinship.

i chose "rei" because it's been my virtual name for a few years now, it is the first half of the kanji for the word reiki, i really like all 13 definitions of rei. i like it so much i have the symbol tattooed on my arm.

Its a song. I believe the original artist was ELO Electric Light Orchestra but one of my favorite singer/songer writers had done a remake of it for the Ella Enchanted movie and I grew to love it. I just changed the end from c to k to fit my strange sense of humor and to be sure it was available.

Kinda fits me. I have been told I have a "magic" feel and well I'm different and strange. I'll admit I'm weird.

It is my first e-mail address and it is the combination of the first 4 letters of my name and first 3 letters of my husbands name, and it stuck for 15 years now. It is what I type without thinking.. my real name is an international one but mainly considered French - Marianne but the way it is spelled in my language it sound bad because of the way j is pronounced in English.

Back in 1998 I needed a nick for Starcraft (Battle.net), so being a Wing Commander fan I took the name of the Kilrathi's god of war and kept it as my online alias ever since.

Later even some friends started calling me by that name, one of them pronouncing it "Shiva", like the Hindu god. Fine with me ...
