Default Growing bamboo for our environment

Growing bamboo for our environment

It is very easy to grow bamboo and good for our environment. Usually, it takes about 3-4 years until it reaches maturity, and new bamboo shoots appear regularly. It also helps product more oxygen just like trees.

There are actually some species that seem to be growing well in NC. I see them here and there. Hopefully not the invasive, uncontrollable kind...

bamboo is very fast growing, but it is not the world's most efficient plant at photosynthesis. You probably would never guess which plant grows the fastest and produces the most oxygen for us to breathe.

Some bamboo is very invasive and nearly impossible to control. I once had a backyard full of it and it sprouted new shoots from the ground constantly. It was like a yard full of spikes. Couldn't get rid of it. made for a pretty much useless yard. but there are some very good things about it - just be careful in landscaping with it.

I'm going to guess cannabis on this one.
