| I've seen many good movies and I usually try to learn a valuable lesson in life from every movie I see. Here are some of my favorite movies: Big Fish, The Shawshank Redemption, Moulin Rouge, Titanic, and A Walk to Remember.

| the adventure films and swashbucklers from the 1930s - Errol Flynn, Cary Grant. Ultimately i think what a 'good' film does is make the life you left outside before you went in a little too small for you when you leave the theatre. also: the english patient lawrence of arabia gunga din robin hood (1940!) |

| I'm a sucker for sci-fi movies, but only if they really get me thinking, such as the Matrix Trilogy and Back to the Future trilogy. But I can't forget my favorite movie, The Blues Brothers. It is probably the reason I have strong love of music now. |

| I subscribe to the Spiritual Cinema Circle, <http://www.spiritualcinemacircle.com>. It is a bit expensive (I think it's about $25 or $30 per month for four or five films -- some are shorts -- on one CD) , but worth it.

| Hmmmm. I'd have to say Prefontaine: the movie about Steve Prefontaine, one of the world's greatest runners. He is an incredible inspiration. Since I am a runner I know how running often paralells the journey of life. - Kim

| Recently I would have to say the new Rocky movie... Quote from the movie to his son... "Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that!" A quick few off the top of the head... Pirates of Silicon Valley, The Secret, I Heart Huckabees. I also love watching Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and hear people complain how stupid it is without getting it one bit. |

| I recently saw the movie Peaceful Warrior - A must watch. Aweomse!!! From the movie - "A warrior does not give up what he loves, he finds the love in what he does" "This moment is the only thing that matters" Last edited by absvan : 04-02-2007 at 08:17 PM. |

| I saw Peaceful Warrior yesterday. I was definitely inspired by it. Got me thinking about taking up running again. It also inspired me to get out for a walk and some meditation at a lake nearby my house. "There are no ordinary moments," is the line from the film that came to mind as I watched the birds dart and soar above the treetops. It was beautiful and exactly what my entire being needed to experience this afternoon. Today at the lake, I was fully present to the experience of being there. I could have been elsewhere working or shopping. But, I realize that when this life is nearly over, I'll never regret this afternoon at the lake. If anything, I'll wish for more times like that, not fewer!

| For me, the ultimate inspiration movie is "The Secret". What an amazing eye opener. Oprah, Larry King, Ellen Degeneres and other media have talked about it. "The Family Man" with Nicholas Cage and Tea Leoni was also inspirational. René |
