Smile would time exist for a two-dimensional creature?

Time is the fourth dimension (or not) But it seems that a two-dimensional creature will live in time in the same way that we do. It will see things changing around it. And time exists because of change. My question is, wouldn't this two dimensional creature be actually a three-dimensional creature with the difference that the third dimension is time instead of one of the other three. What do you think?

You confuse models with actual things.
It doesn't matter whether you call time the 1st or 4st dimension.

my mind works kind of strangely sometimes, as some of you may have noticed...but when you talk of a 2 dimensional being...all i can think of is the old outer limits and one program about such a creature called "ekk"...as a child i thougt it was fascinating... he would slip in and out of visibility as he turned "sideways" when he moved...guess you had to be there...truly dating myself now

Why...? I don't understand your answer... Could you elaborate?
