So yeah. thats me. IM a boy. 17 I have been reading steves blog for almost 3 years. Forums for 1 and a half. I want to share emotions and ideas with the world. In university im going to study Experimental art. Experimental music and business I don't really have career worries. Im confident of what I can achive with that. Sometimes depression and fear drives me to learn new things and expand my understanding. But im currently trying to make it that I learn things from the perspective of joy instead. I think being over productive and officiant cant kill the fun in things. I want to find someone to hold ands and chase dreams with my whole life. And i think I have Im vegetarian and will go vegan when I move out. At the moment I cant see myself ever going 100% raw food. I think anything can be fine in moderation and if you admit you are responsible for its consequence. IE drugs, drink, unhealthy food, tv ect I dont really do any of those things but im cool if other people do. If they dont unbalance your life its fine. I have never been deeply depressed. I do sometimes get a little down but I know its just a state and can easily be changed. I sometimes am so happy that i cry in public for no reason and it confuses my friends (Only a cupple of times don't worry) Looking forward to seeing everyone elses! ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by dwixi; 06-17-2009 at 11:05 PM. |

Dwixi, all this time I had the impression you were female. So far this topic has already proved to be educational! Hmm, not off to a very fast start yet. I'm not sure how many people are comfortable sharing many details. Let's see if I can help. I'm going to be lazy and copy my info from my blog. Quote:
Dwixi, you posted 4 pictures, so I will too. I hope these are entertaining... Me and an ex. Fabulous! I found the glasses in the sand. ![]() I also tried being a superhero that day but the sand got in my eye. I simply can not be fabulous and a hero in one day. Asking too much. ![]() When boxing, you should never lower your hands. My friend made that mistake with me, and as you can see, he's about to pay for it. ![]() ![]() Welcome to the forum! What were you originally looking for? What do you think of Steve's material?

Hm. What to say? I've never been good at describing myself. More demonstrative, been I. Something to note: I'm probably the only person here technically banned from an entire town! Oh! I'm a game-designer, and a general deviant. I've starved to the point of hallucinations. Since schizophrenia's kind of popular, on my mom's side, I don't take myself very seriously: if I'm not already utterly mad, I soon will be. Sometimes I wonder about my sanity, 'cause I talk to myself alot; and “sane” people don't tend to laugh at the top of their lungs, when they periodically think of something funny, like I do: either that, or people just generally have boring thoughts. Something of a simpleton, I don't relate well to negativity. Shouting at an mocking melodramatic anime is a pencant of mine, if the story isn't well done, but I'm a sucker for most comedy- and action-serieses. My accomplishments include impressing senators with my knowledge of finances, and unintentionally forming a homoerotic fan-club dedicated to myself. I've also been very inspirational, from a very young age! I can inspire squirrels and pelicans to attack humans… namely, me. Nowadays, I just help people through panic-attacks and domestic-violence situations. I can also make people owe me money: don't stick around me too long, if you dislike having financial debts. Online, I've been mistaken for a girl: lately, that hasn't happened as much. *** Well! I guess I just needed that first little trigger, eh? Onto the pics! Me, with my beard: ![]() Me, with just a moustache: ![]() I'm only 20, but I'm often thought of as being older, due to my looks. I've gotten upwards of 35, since the age of 15. My gradual shift into becoming a transvestite (if girls' clothes weren't so comfortable…) seems to bring my age back down.

| Banned | Update I forgot to mention this and I think i should When i was around 6 years old i started to trade stuff! I bought loads of goods.. Like 100 of some silly toy then sold them This got quite serious i WAS MAKING £40 a week as a little kid. And thats alot for a little kid. buying bulk of toys then selling them at markets on the weekend When i got a little older like 13 I started trading on ebay instead. I guess this was the peak of what I done. I got jo lots of designer sunglasses then resold them It helped me fund my passion for music... but more so my passion at the time for just... collecting guitars :P I then stoped when I started to get things like my exams in school and girlfriends :P I sold alot of the guitars I spent my money on back then because I was just being silly and collecting them for the sake of it. I STILL have loads of stuff that I spent my money on back then for me to sell! loads of expensive items that I really need to put on ebay soon so i can spend it on things to help me create value more directly. Not just trading! |

Here go all the images I can find of myself; ![]() ![]() ![]() My name is Brendan.. I work from home for an e-commerce store, but hoping to get more into web design and make some money doing that. I paint as a passion and make some money from it, but mainly a sideline hobby.. I'm 27 years old.. older than people think I am.. I have lots of energy, and want to run around and play sports... sometimes I seem a bit serious, and I can be a bit too over-analytical, but I'm working on that, and learning to live in the now.. I enjoy watching NBA basketball, and rugby union, and cricket.. I like music in a big way, my top 5 bands at the moment are; 1/ The Hold Steady 2/ Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks / Pavement (same lead mans band) 3/ The Ramones 4/ Marah 5/ Okkervil River (saw them live recently) I really enjoy Steve Pavlinas articles, soulful relationships and 10 reasons why not to have a job the most... Although I have lots of respect for Tony Robbins and Brian Tracy and many of those guys, I find Steve Pavlina's seems more humanly and more mind-expansive, if that makes sense.. |

Lets see. I'm a 23 year old graphic designer. I design websites for a living, which makes me kind of geeky. I won't even try to deny it. I'm always doodling and drawing or making up stories in my head. Or I make plushies. Yeah! Plushies! I'm a grown up kid, still loving plushies and playing around, enjoying the little things (ice cream! butterflies! bunnies!), but at the same time thinking about life and how I'm living it. And being a grown up kid also makes me extremely naive. I'm an optimist, with some periods of dark clouds in my head, but I seem to be able to put things in perspective pretty good. I have a good sense of humor and I can laugh with my own clumsiness and mistakes. People see me as a person with very little stress who's just enjoying life as it comes. Which is true. Although there are times that I'm one big ball of stress. I have a bit of a confidence issue. I lack a lot of it, but I'm working on it. It's keeping me from doing a lot of things I want to do like starting a small business to sell my art and plushies. And I tend to be rather self conscious as well. That's me in a nutshell. Behold my geeky glasses! ![]() Strike a pose! Vogue! ![]() But kind of silly

I'm a bit of a grown up child too.. (although started growing up) I think I have more of a slacker demeanor though, but soon I'm going to have to get more of a career going so will have to get it together more.... but I wear sunglasses, and you wear glasses, so I'm cooler than you

Dwixi -- that's cool. I had a girlfriend who used to buy candy and resell it for a profit in school. She made a bit of money doing that! Sarah -- you sounds very happy. What kind of businesses have you started? Brendan -- you look a lot like my friend John. I'm also a fan of Brian Tracy. I actually find his stuff resonates with me more than Steve's, though obviously I enjoy what Steve says as well. Deergirl -- awesome. Ya know, I know some other graphic designers who seem to share some personality traits with you. It must be a graphic designer thing. I really like your hair, by the way. Very pretty. |

Just landed here today so I might as well introduce myself. I'm a 22 year old guy from Sweden. I've been studying Productdevelopment, design and marketing for the past two years but I've changed my mind. I'm gonna go to cooking-school in the autumn! At the moment I'm working as a dishwasher in a restaurant just to survive until school starts. I love movies, food and reading. Especially like films by David Lynch, Alfred Hitchcock and John Carpenter. My dream is to be able to travel all around the world and see new places. This is what I usualy look like: ![]() This is what I look like when I'm feeling awesome |

Thanks! So what did your brother end up doing? Btw, I forgot to write why I'm here. I'm here because I'm looking for a forum with a nice positive attitude to things. Have I found the right place? (I used to hang out in a forum where people always kept focusing on the negatives in everything) |

I guess I ought to get around to posting a pic or two around here. I'm 27 years old. Will be 28 in October. I have two kids who are my life. I'm a Civil Engineer (my day job), but my passion is writing. I also love kids and would like to be a teacher or a guidance counsellor someday (yeah, Engineering is my old life). A couple of pics: This one is actually only a few hours old. Newest pic of me that I have: ![]() This one is my favorite pic of myself even though it's about two years old now. Other than the fact that I don't wear glasses anymore, I look pretty much the same (actually, I'm in a little better shape physically):

| Do some designing on a CADD program, do some work in excel, surf the net, smoke some cigarettes, eat some lunch, talk with people around the office. Sometimes we make it out of the office to go look at a job. Other than that, that's about it. Certainly not something I want to be doing. I've discovered that the office life isn't really something I want to do. But pretty much everybody who works in an office thinks that, don't they?
