Not trying to advertise or peddle goods here, I just wanted to share a fun item that I purchased recently. Normally I think that "successories" type motivational posters are sort of lame, but I was trying to find art to hang at the end of my bed that would be good to wake up to every morning and I stumbled upon this poster: Supermarket - Do More Care Less - Grey from Curse of the Multiples (Do More, Care Less) I also have a Dalai Lama photo at work to remind me to be positive Does anyone else have little trinkets or artwork or things they keep around to keep them in line? |

I keep bits and pieces around the place to remind me to be positive and calm and generous. It’s so easy to become complaisant and sure of ourselves. Thinking we are already the way we imagine ourselves to be only to realise that we feel annoyed at someone or that we‘re being crabby. It‘s nice to have these things around as gentle reminders to be all that we are.

I'm a painter so I use my art to focus and create, heh. It's funny though, because I'm not as interested in purchasing other people's works as a result . . . But I'm trying to hone it into a better and better tool for my life. It also brings me the greatest amount of pleasure if I know that I can create something which inspires others. So I'm kind of hoping that I'll eventually be able to take commissions from people which will result in a piece that encourages and strengthens them.
