I recently started playing the interactive fiction game series, zork. The great thing about zork and other interactive fiction is, it pushes the imagination to it's boundaries to create a world. It relies on concentration as well as unlocking the creativity within us. Zork spawned many famous quotes now circulating the internet such as "It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue." Me and my friend joke about how text adventures are the most graphically realistic games you can play, but the weird thing is, when you really allow your imagination to come into play, it really is true. Does anyone else here enjoy or remember interactive fiction? |

Have you played Legends of Zork? It's a free browser-based casual MMO. I tried it for a while but eventually stopped. It's not a bad game, though. For a casual, free game, it met my expectations. Zork purists are in a tizzy over it, of course.

I like it, it's a great graphical realisation of the great underground empire. Not how I imagined it but a great game regardless. Plus, it's a great way for younger gamers to be introduced to the zork world.
