Oh, sure, he SEEMS normal. But underneath that warm exterior is cold, unfeeling ROBOT. Don't believe me? Just look at the facts. 1. He provides helpful personal development information. As if he was PROGRAMMED to do so. 2. He used to post frequently but now posts less often. Reason? His RAM hasn't been updated in years. 3. He is constantly Twittering, an enjoyable, monotonous activity where machines are involved. Also I'm fairly sure he can shoot eye lasers. |

| You completely forget he's a lightworking robot. Sure, he could use his eye lasers to blow our brains out (as most robots probably do sometimes by mistake), but he can also use them to cut diamonds and provide light effects at discos. Ain't nothin' wrong with robots!

He is in fact a remote controlled robot, created by robots for robots - a robot's robot, if you will. Yes, you're right, his hard-coded remit is to provide all those lovely little personal development informational goodies which he downloads weekly from a universal PD database into his main cpu. He also doesn't post as often because his rechargeable batteries are not as efficient as they used to be. A couple of years ago, he would be fully charged in 6 hours, now it's more like 10 days - lying inert in a darkened room. Yes, he likes twittering in a strange language with other machines. Nobody has (as yet) succeeded in translating it. Likes: Daleks; watching washing machines (especially the final rinse). Dislikes: magnets; stairs. Love of his life: a rather classy Kirby vacuum cleaner from the flat above. | |

| I looked at your schematic at Tyrell's office... you're a Nexus III, but you've been HEAVILY patched... there's an awful lot of non-documented, non-reproducible code in your firmware. I guess THAT is what 'personal development' is all about? Self-modifying code, driven by experiential heuristics! JS Last edited by Johnny Soporno; 05-05-2009 at 08:56 PM. |
