- If only - Somethings gotta give (where she tells her daughter "so, what are you waiting for" - this moment gives me goose bumps every time I see it) - the cartoon "Up" - it's funny and the same time with a deep sense |

Seen FOrrest Gump, Like this conversation .. Maybe you will like it too.. Mom: Hi, Forrest. Forrest: What’s the matter, mom? Mom: I’m dying, Forrest. Come on in, sit down, over here. Forrest: Why are you dying, mom? Mom: It’s my time, it’s just my time. Oh, now don’t be afraid, sweet heart. Death is just the part of life. Somewhere all is destined to do. I didn’t know it. But I was destined to be your mama. I did the best I could. Forrest: You did good mama. Mom: Well, I haven’t believed you make your own destiny. You have to do the best with what God gives you. Forrest: What’s my destiny, mom? Mom: You’re going to have to figure it out for yourself. Life’s like a bar of chocolate, Forrest. You’ll never know what you’ll get. |

The one movie that gets me no matter how many times I have watched it is AN American Rhapsody. It has a young Scarlett Johanson in it and it is just powerful all the way through!!

I cried for sure at: Dead Poets Society (I don't know which parts though I don't think it was because of Neil's death) Ordinary People (I just watched this a few days ago and I cried. a lot.) -definitely recommended Maybes: Every holiday season I end up watching It's A Wonderful Life. I know I didn't cry the most recent time I watched it but I might have cried one of the other times. Then again it's a happy movie, so I don't know. I watched The Pianist a few years ago, and I'm almost sure I cried, but possibly not. I remembered it only because someone else mentioned it here. I "skimmed" the Kite Runner movie online (I read the book so I figured it wasn't worth watching the entire movie) and I may have cried at the end, I don't remember. I definitely cried when I read the book. P.S. Glad to see The Hours and Mar Adentro on this list, since I'm planning to watch those |

I have never felt so sad as in the movie ' Open Water ' based on the true story of 2 scuba divers on vacation. The couple go on a diving trip and when they arise, find themselves alone in the ocean when their diving boat abandoned them on a miscount. Acting was B grade, yet their predicament was so compelling and heart-wrenching (and so totally idiotically unnecessary), could not help but feel sympathy and grief for the loneliness and terror experienced by these vacationers who just wanted to enjoy a vacation break. |

Iron Giant definitely made me bawl. Charlotte's Web, about the 3rd time I saw it when I was ten, when I realized what happened to charlotte. The Notebook Dear John Its not quite a movie, but the ending to Crisis Core(video game) made me cry. 7 Pounds and The Pursuit of Happyness. The Phantom of the Opera Edward Scissorhands and Artificial Intelligence. I only saw the end, but for some reason that was enough. |
