I'm going to be traveling to Sedona, AZ in April and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on what to do, where to stay, etc. I do want to get one of those aura photos and maybe a reading. Has anyone had an aura photo done? I was thinking of one of those vortex tours also. Anyway, suggestions are welcome! |

We loved our Sedona trip. We stayed at the Amara Creekside Resort. It was pleasant and right near a little shopping center that was fun to walk around and shop at for days. I might skip the vortex tour unless they let you stay as long as you want. We enjoyed meditating for a long time and I'm not sure it's a good idea to go with a group and have the group leader saying it's time to go when you're not ready. You can get a map to all the vortexes and just take yourself. |

Of all the vortexes, I enjoyed Cathedral Rock the best. The vortex is next to a beautiful creek and was a wonderful place to meditate. Erin and I love the D'lish vegan restaurant. There was also a raw restaurant that had some great food too. I went on a jeep tour with an Indian guide, which was OK but nothing special. |

Yeah I was gonna say try the jeep tours. THat is something I haven't tried yet but really really want to. I live in the Phoenix area and don't even make it there that often. If it will be warm season slide rock is near there which I guess is fun. I dunno I've never been but people in town here seem to really like it. |

What a beautiful beautiful place. I was there only once for a few hours but was amazed by it. Would love to go again. If I had the photos I took on this computer, I would have posted a few to show you. Wow. Don't really have a place to recommend but wanted to say that you'll really enjoy it. |

Last time I was in Sedona I stayed at the Radisson, and the beds were SOO comfortable. There's also an amazing little restaurant called "The Coffee Pot" on the main strip. I ate there 6 time in 3 days, it was so good. You might want to visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross up on the mountain. Supposedly it is very close to some of the energy vortices in Sedona. Have fun! xo kb |
