I'm pretty new but I've been making good progress on fur elise in the past couple days. I can basically play both hands together on the slow parts, and single hands on the fast middle part. Can anyone suggest a classical piece for a beginner? I tend to like dark/foreboding stuff. |

You should try the pieces by Bach such as Minuette. It's pretty suits well for beginners and the piece is good. Here are youtube links of it. YouTube - Minuette Bach YouTube - Bach minuette first part |

Comptine d'un Autre Ete L'apres Midi, by Yann Tiersen: YouTube - The Piano [Life is a song] And I love Victor's Piano Solo, from The Corpse Bride: YouTube - Victor's Piano Solo (w. ending of my own work) If you can do Fur Elise you will manage these Enjoy!! |
