Or just "what you're playing right now". I can give a single answer to both of those: Banjo-Kazooie. For those who don't know, it was an awesome platformer, similar to Mario 64, that was released back in the day on the N64. They've recently re-released it on the Xbox 360 arcade (Nintendo sold the company a few years back and Microsoft bought it) and I gave it a download. It's got very creative puzzles and a great sense of humour, I'd recommend it for anyone with kids. I like it now just as much as when I was 10 years old. Another game you can download on the 360 arcade is Castle Crashers. 4-player co-op and ridiculously fun. If anyone here has it, add my gamertag (Zrogerg) and maybe we can even set up some Games for Smart People =P I'll add more later, but in the meantime, what do you guys play? |

Rpg -> I usually try what every my love plays. She loves RPG games and I play with her when I'm free. Usually I just don't play games, but watch anime if I'm resting. Otherwise, I continually write books. | |

Well, that would be a tie between Secret of Mana and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I enjoy games mainly because of the associations they bring me. I actually didn't play LoZ: MM before it was released for GameCube - never had a N64 - but I instantly loved it because I got the "Zelda feeling" from it. I also like the Fire Emblem series, the Worms games, the other Zelda games, the Super Smash Bros. series, and the StarWing/StarFox series. I also enjoy GTA: San Andreas from time to time. Lately, I've played minesweeper a lot, but I'm too bored by it now. |

^Your preferences sound a lot like mine. I'm a massive Nintendo fan, my favourite game of all time is Zelda: Ocarina of Time. And recently I've been on a Fire Emblem binge. Though, there haven't been any great games on the Wii for me since Smash Bros. I like that they're attracting new people to gaming with simpler games, but I need something a little more substantial to get my teeth into. So I mostly play on the 360. My favourite series of all time is Metroid. Case in point: My computer is named 'Samus' and my external hard drive is called 'Morph Ball'. |

I'd have to say my favorite games are Resident Evil 4, the God of War series, and the Metroid Prime series. And like a million others... like Metal Gear Solid. And I have to admit that I never get tired of running people over in Grand Theft Auto 4. I also enjoy the Final Fantasy series. Basically, I like games that are challenging and fun, but I also enjoy anything with an immersive story. Puzzle-solving is really fun too. Good play-control is a must. I'm not playing anything at the moment, but I'll probably play Half-Life 2 next, including Episode 1 and 2. I go through phases where I don't play any games for months, then I will play a bunch of games straight for a few weeks. That's how I take vacations. I also enjoy playing regular nintendo games because of the simple gameplay. To sum it all up, I LOVE VIDEO GAMES. Sorry that this post is all over the place!

I still play my original Nintendo games...Mario 1, 2, 3, Tetris, stuff like that. My dad has a Playstation 3 so I've played Paradise City and that is pretty fun. I'd like to get a Wii and check some of those games out. I guess I'm a Nintendo kind of gal. I'd probably play more if I had more time!

I'm still waiting for better Xbox-360 games to come out. Most recently, playing some Madden 09. Other than that, Shotest Shogi against the computer. I really didn't like the clumsy translations and the childish anime use, but it's an interesting game and the only version in town. I'd personally like to see more of those sorts of exotic or lesser-known games, but without the childishness, cartoonishness, and translation issues. Or maybe I'm the problem and that those sorts of games (shogi, etc.) were meant for children in the Far East. |

Another Nintendo fanboy here. Yeah, sold my PSP just months ago, I don't feel like playing it anymore. Now it's just me and my lovely lovely DS Phat. Favourite games... this is hard... my first ever video game I've played is Super Mario Bros. and I still like it... Final Fantasy are great, but I'm kind of tired of it, too much emphasize on the graphic, too little thing that is done with the gameplay, FF5 is my favourite final fantasy! played it like 12 times LoZ? Love the Phantom Hourglass! Love it! Just absolutely love it! How the level expand, The enemies doesn't seem to get harder or stronger, Many kind of different puzzles, many type of equipments etc. I would really love it if they remake Uncharted Waters 2, my favourite game on SNES! Yes, I'm saying that I enjoy it more than LoZ. man... if only my friends love video games like I do... Can't stand the 'OMG! The Graphiqxz suck! it's not a good game!' from my friends... I'm getting tired of yelling Objection! in front of them. Godot_objection.mp3 |

| I just played Phantom Hourglass for the first time, and I agree. It was awesome! It was the first game I played on the DS where I was actually happy I was playing the DS. The other games I have (New Super Mario Bros, Contra 4, and Mario Kart) I would enjoy more playing with a traditional controller on a TV screen.

Any recommendations for games & game systems for 2 yr olds? (No, I'm not 2 years old... but my son is!)

LeapFrog makes some young educational games. He might enjoy some basic Wii games, but generally speaking, most 2 year olds don't have the attention span or physical ability to play video games. I think his time might be better spent doing physical activities. Plenty of time to push buttons later! |

I would have to say that my absolute, all-time favorite video game has to be Crono Trigger for the Snes. As for the most addicting, that award would have to go to Everquest, aka Evercrack, aka Everarse, aka Eversmack. I logged between six to eighteen hours a day for over two years playing that game, and ended up flunking college because of it. Thank god I learned my lesson by the time World of Warcraft came along.

Final Fantasy X is my favourite. I even love most of the awkward moments in the cutscenes. At first I almost hated it because of the repetitive battles and slow pace but after about 5 hours I was stuck and now I have played it four times. It is a game that really makes me relax since it doesn't hurry the storytelling, which IMO, FFXII fails miserably at. I also love FFVII, Occarina of time and Morrowind.

I'm really enjoying SF4 for the Xbox 360. And by "enjoying," I mean that I've broken two controllers in frustration while playing it online. But I love it!
