I don't think these things are going too far, but it depends on who you do them on. If you do it on a highly conscious person or someone with a good sense of humor, then they'd be so funny. I think it's too bad that some people get mad when you are just trying to make them laugh. I think the box thing is funny too. The only time it wouldn't be funny is if you actually gave someone a heart attack from the shock. But otherwise, I think people that would get mad at you just take life too seriously. In general, I think it is a huge problem that most people take life too seriously. I do comedy myself, so I can relate to people that are just trying to be funny. Sometimes some people think something is hilarious and others think it's offensive. It's impossible to please everyone. I thought I'd just add what my own reactions would probably be. If someone did the box thing on me, I'd probably shake their hand and congratulate them for their courage. If someone did the elevator thing, I'd shake their hand and tell them that it's fine that I was the victim, but be careful on who they do it to. Also, I think it was interesting that the girls in the elevator were more concerned about saving themselves than anything else.

This is not a joke.... It's a prank A joke implies humor and I don't see humor in: 1. a guy jumplng out of a book and holding a girl that is clearly scared against a wall 2. Setting the scene of a dead body and being trapped alone in that room. now you find humor in seeing these peoples fear.... not so highly conscious the only exception I can see is if it were their friends pulling the joke the first one only.. We all have hid from a friend and popped out to scare them but: 1. they recognized who it was pretty quickly 2. they got to laugh at the situation along with their friends. Even the show scare tactics always had one of the persons friends or family involved in the prank... This allowed the person being pranked to also get a laugh The thing with the hanging guy was just wrong without a second person who knew the girl being pranked and knew it was a prank being present with her... A little difference makes a big difference Much Love
