Las Vegas means the meadow, or fertile valley. Las Vacas means the cows. Let us students and corporate rat racers quit our wage slavery, (liberate ourselves from Las Vacas--evil bovine masters) be homeless, organize a mass exodus, and go to the fertile green land, Las Vegas. And knock on the doors of Steve's house. "Hi Steve! we followed your advice and became homeless. Could you provide us with shelter and food so that we can start providing value with our websites?" |

I bumped this because I thought it was funny and worthy of re-reading. We are going to Vegas because it is "green meadow" like the Promised Land..

But literally, right now, it's in the middle of a hot, burning, very dry desert. When I drive around, I feel for those pioneers who had to cross this land before they could get to fertile California. | |
