Default Something good that happened today
Pick just ONE good thing that happened today. It can be the simplest thing in the world, like, "I ate a yummy breakfast," or something huge like, "I made a new friend," or "I went to a party" or "I won the lottery." Nothing is too small. The idea is, as soon as you're forced to pick one good thing, a whole bunch of good things will pop into your head. We've got to force ourselves to think happy thoughts. But try to only list one.

I will start. But since the day is still ahead of me, to some extent, I'll say something good that happened yesterday:

I bought some nice new shoes

Night classes got cancelled due to the Hurricane coming.... I think that is a good thing. hmm.

I found a beautiful spot today -- a historic home in Malibu that is now a museum. The home was built by the last Spanish land grant family for their daughter and son-in-law. It is gorgeous on the outside, and Danger Man and I have a date to go see the insides tomorrow, and to go the beach right in front which is an incredible surfing spot. How inspiring it was to see these good surfers taking their long, long rides! And there is a space for me to swim there, too. It was so hot, and it was so nice to have a talk with Danger Man in that setting.

That was something good that happened today.

After so many months in my shitty hostel I'm finally back home- only for this week.
Good things: Aaaaahhhhh....so many good things just cant pick one....
clean toilets where everyone flushes, food, food and even more food- food that my taste buds and my body and my brain enjoy, a good mattress, good food, sleeping in a peaceful room -(n not in a room where the room-mate is a music addict who keeps playing something till 2 am or so), good food, tv , good food,watching/surfing/checking emails and catching up on old correspondence, good food, wiki-ing(this word has been included in the official english vocab isnt it?), good food, youtube-ing, good food, movies, good food, drawing, good food,
meeting up with pals , good food................
words cant describe how satisfied/happy/gay i'm feeling ......Aaaaahhhhh.....uuuummmmmmm.........ooooooooo oohhhhhhhh....

how come theres no emoticon to show satisfaction?

Whether they pick me or not, I had fun roasting celebrities that weren't there. And... I learned a lot by having to write roast jokes under a time pressure.

I got my my textbooks for free with a grant from school! Best part is: the money which I didn't spend from the grant gets sent to me in the form of a check... whoo hoo!

In the midst of a gray and rainy day, a small white feather appeared on my windshield. I thought it was rather lovely. It made me think of angels.

I began reading a book that really has gotten me to think about perception, being, and identity. "Honest to God: A Change of Heart That Can Change the World" by Brad Blanton and Neale Donald Walsch.

EVERY day is a good day for me. My family and friends are with me, happy & healthy. I have a job. I have a reliable car. I have two dogs who lay by the front door for 8 hours, waiting for that moment I pull into the driveway. I have a computer and an internet connection. I have indoor plumbing. I have so many wonderful things.
