| For the first time tonight i spent roughly an hour looking up at the stars and saw 11 shooting stars!!! With about 8 of them being really bright and obvious! Anybody else saw this many in such a short period ? |

| Cool! I love shooting stars. I live in Hawaii, and we can see the sky really clear some nights. When there are meteor showers you can see dozens of them, but if you were just looking up on a random night, I often only see a couple or none at all =)

| About two weeks ago was the best time of the year to watch for shooting stars. August 12th was the best day to see shooting stars because the Earth was so close to dust left by Comet Swift-Tuttle way back in 1992. Seems like you were watching at nearly the perfect time.

I really love to see a shooting star, but I never seen a shooting star even once. I can’t remember if I’ve seen a shooting star when I was a kid. How I wish I can see a shooting star at my age now. |
