Default X-Files movie sucked

Seriously, avoid, avoid, avoid.

I thought it might only be as good as an episode -- so I already had low expectations, but it wasn't even that good. It was just bad.

Poorly written, non-nonsensical, slow, repetitive, lame, ugh. And I'm an old fan of the show too, and I loved the first movie, this one is nothing like that.

From the very low box office receipts for this movie, it looks like millions of people are taking your advice.

I have to say, I was a little disappointed as well. I really enjoyed "Fight the Future" but this new x-files movie felt more like watching a normal episode. It was more about the relationship between Scully and Mulder than it was about anything else, which sadly, sort of bored me to tears.

Also the whole time I was like "and now........the aliens.....er....maybe NOW.....the aliens?" Ummmmm......huh?

Anyway, that's my 2 cents on the movie.

that is such a shame. I loved the series and would have enjoyed some more.

The preview sucked outrageously, in my humble opinion. I don't watch the show and I've only seen one episode in my entire life, so you would think I'd at least be curious. The preview is supposed to be the best of the movie.

Of course, I'll watch it at a cheap theater or on DVD later. And I'll like it. But yeah, it probably sucks.

I actually have the film on right now and as you can probably deduct - since I'm browsing these forums instead - it's really rather poor.
