Beloved is on a distinguished road

Last week my niece (in law) lost her father, he passed away in his sleep. He was only 54.

The company he worked for has made the offer of paying for his funeral. His colleagues have all pledged to donate a day's pay each to his family AND the company is matching the donation dollar for dollar.

How beautiful is that?

Sorry for your neice's and family's loss. That indeed is a beautiful story of care and respect from his company and colleagues.

I often wonder if it is purely chance, or if there is a call home when someone dies so young. Both of my brother's died of natural causes when they were in their early 40's.
