| ... what song would you choose? Something pop, something classical? I think I would choose one of the slower movements of a Mozart symphony or piano concerto... though I can't decide which one, they're all so pretty! (Okay, okay, those pieces technically aren't songs, but I'm the one asking the question. What about you guys? What would you choose? |

| I have way too much to choose from Right now I'd choose an Ayreon song though. It has several singers and mixed styles, and that's one of the lesser reasons to choose this song. Ayreon - Day Twelve: Trauma

| I guess I'd pick the full-quality stereo version of "Faded Memories" from Final Fantasy XI: YouTube - Final Fantasy XI 「Faded Memories - Promyvion〠I find it very relaxing, even if it's repeated five zillion times in a row. Lots of songs start to annoy me if I leave them repeating in the background, but with that one, I tend to just forget it's even there. I'd sure miss all the other good music in existence, though. | Indeed, listening to one song for eternity, ha, you would curse yourself for your choice! I think it would have to be something fairly neutral and repetitive. Something soothing. Ambient like William Basinski-El Camino Real perhaps. |

| 4′33″ - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I could not listen to one thing for eternity, that would drive me crazy. So I chose a piece of music that is all silence. lol. |

Well... anyway I think that I wouldn't listen much and I would remember other songs or compose songs in my head... well... in my conscience. You don't have to listen to have music in your head. |

| I can't remember what it is called but there is a song that is just silent. I would listen to that.

| You would pick 4'33''?! That's a creative choice! I don't think I could listen to that for eternity, it would drive me insane. (You know, I actually played that piece at a piano recital once! It made everybody in the room totally uncomfortable - nobody had any idea what was going on. These songs you people have picked are awesome, a lot of them I've never heard before! Well, 'cept the John Cage piece, and Beer Barrel Polka. |

| well, John Lennon once published kind of a rarity "One Minute Silence" as I'm unlucky with girls I thought of "recording" a silence song for 22 seconds (the number that appears on many things in my life)... called "Me and Women" or so... Last edited by songwriter : 07-24-2008 at 01:53 AM. |

| If I could only listen to it when I want to, I'd have to choose Jim Offerman's "This Is Me". It's such an inspiring song that I listen to it often. Always puts me in the mood to take action. :P You can get it from his website here Music | Jim Offerman |

| My partner chose this one YouTube - Alice And I have to admit that this piece of composing is strong. It stays in your head for hours after you heard it the first time without really giving irritation. But I am not sure if I would want to listen to it for eternity. |

| While i'm totally into this new song, I kissed a girl... I'd have to say Seperate Ways (Worlds Apart) by Journey.

Personally, I'm with Wolfgang on going with 4'33... I could just sing whatever I want through it and enjoy some much needed silence occasionally
