Default tv show "Supernatural"

I wasnt sure where to post this but i was wondering if anyone on the forum are fans of this show? Its about two brothers who lost their mother to a demon when they were children and since then theyv'e been hunting demons and other supernatural/paranormal creatures. It is one of the best shows i've ever watched,it has humor, seriousness, horror, and excellent acting. Might be right up the alley of some of the people who post in here

I started watching this a couple weeks ago.. Got the first season on DVD.
Typically i am not a TV watcher, but i like to have something to watch when i am ill (which is not every often) or when i am beat after hours outside.

I really enjoy this show so far. I like the characters and i love what they go up against. It is very enjoyable and different then most of the stuff on TV.

It's been one of my favorite shows since it started airing. And the Winchester boys figure prominently in my lucid dreams.

One time I actually dreamed an entire episode of Supernatural, complete with commercial breaks. Imagine having a dream with commercial breaks! It was a great episode and I wish I could submit it to the writers. Oh, not only commercial breaks but scenes to next week's episode at the end.

But my favorite is when I'm in an episode with them (in my dreams). It's awesome.

The show is great. Humor is great, horror is great, good action, good actors. What's not to like?

It's on the CW network. Thursday nights at 9pm here where I live.

You'd probably want to rent the first season and go from there though, catch up over the summer, and start watching in fall. Season 4 is beginning.

WOW!! Erin i am so glad you love this show as much as i do! I have been trying to make myself have Sam & Dean dreams, but no luck lol You are so lucky! That was funny about the commercial breaks

Yes,to anyone who hasnt seen it,download the first episode and see if its something you'd like before you buy the dvd...you kinda have to see the first episode. Or just buy the whole dvd set but its like $40. But well worth it! I have seasons 1 and 2 and i'm about to watch the finale of season 2 right now,i havent seen season 3 yet cuz i just became a fan like a month ago

Best way for me to induce a lucid dream with Sam and Dean is to watch Supernatural right before I go to sleep, then begin programming the type of dream I want to have. Even if it doesn't come out perfectly like I wanted it, I can at least get them into my dream content 90% of the time I do this.

I have been on so many missions with them. We're starting to have some continuity in my dreams with them, referring back to other dream episodes while we're out hunting demons. They rock!

This has got to be one of my favorite shows.I like the fact that they cover such a wide range of urban legends, and of course how can you not like all the 80's music that is played. All I can say right now about it is poor Dean

Heroic, man, heroic Well, okay maybe it's violent, but I'm still going with heroic. They only kill demons, not people.

yeah its violent like horror movies but like Erin said, they never kill innocent people (or people at all...unless you count that girl Sam liked who was also a werewolf LOL) But i'd watch this show just for the relationship with the brothers, that the best part i think!

I agree, the relationship between the brothers is the best part of the show. Thanks to this thread I had a lovely dream with Sam and Dean last night. I feel utterly blessed to be able to lucid dream this sort of thing. it's such a delight. Sometimes I allow myself to be fully immersed in my character and sometimes I know I'm Erin having a Winchester dream.

Oh, I'd kill for that. Supernatural is actually the only show I watch on TV these days. Since second season is on rerun late in the evening I do watch it each night before I go to bed. But so far no lucid dreams or any dreams of it for me... sniff.

Just curious...anyone ever watch the Dog Whisperer? It's basically personal development for the humans not really their dogs. I thought I found it kind of interesting.

Today in Supernatural news, the producers decided to let Katie Cassidy go, she played Ruby, for budget reasons. With the US dollar falling and them shooting in Canada they can't afford her. Apparently their budget is the same as last year but it doesn't buy them as much.

I don't know how you guys felt about Bela and Ruby but I actually liked them both despite the fact that most fans disliked them both.

But the producers promise some bombshells in the first episode back that will take the show in a new direction. As long as they don't mess with the Winchester's I'm a happy camper.

I also read in an interview that Eric Kripke sort of has a 5 year plan for the show and may not want it to go beyond that. I wish he would drop that line of thinking. 7-8 years would be awesome.

Yep i heard Ruby and Bela wont be back, but i dont know either of them yet so i don't have an opinion

Yes i read about Kripke's deal...i'll be happy no matter how long it goes as long as our boys don't ever really die I want them to get their normal happy life eventually!

Not where I live. On free TV season 1 just finished, and on pay TV it's been season 2- now on rerun.

So I got lots and lots of eps yet to look forward to.
