Default Month Long Stay in Mountain!

I'm so incredibly yearning right now to go spend a month in the mountains and forest! Any suggestions where I can go at a reasonable price somewhere in the U.S, maybe close to Oklahoma? I'm guessing I'll probably have to sleep in some tents, but that's ok.

I might settle for even a week or a few days, I'm just so yearning to go spend time in the mountains and forest.

Ohhh. That sounds so fun.

Texas isn't really mountainous, but we have beautiful state parks. Caprock Canyon is in north Texas. That's still quite a distance from you, but maybe you would like to check it out?

Even farther:

When I was about 8 years old my family camped in the mountains in Colorado. I will have to ask my parents where exactly we were because that was a gorgeous place.

And a friend told me Wyoming is amazing. He really loved it there.
