Here is one of my favorite acts of all time about how life is "just a ride." It's only three minutes, but it is one of the most profound bits of wisdom and humor that I have seen to this day. Enjoy it. YouTube - Bill Hicks: What is the point to Life

Dude... I love Bill Hicks. Tool always uses clips of his acts spliced into their songs. I was just watching this clip the other day, actually. He was very deep... very aware.

I used that clip of his in my first play! there's another quote of his that I quite like, although it makes references to being on an acid trip so i personally prefer to just edit that part out (due to my own personal preference, since I've done drugs of any kind): "Today, A young man (on acid) realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration; that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves." |
