Default Traveling or running away

So I think I’m addicted to traveling. I find that no matter where I’m living I start to get anxious even after a few months if I don't travel somewhere. I plan trips, try to think of ways to make money while traveling, and also plan moving to a new city almost as soon as I plant my feet in another. I love big trips out of the country, buses and backpacks, and I've done a number of those, but even just little weekend trips out of town to visit a friend or something. I think I was bit by the traveling bug early as a kid since my family never stayed in one town more than two years. I love traveling but it can be exhausting always feeling like you have to be on the move. I wonder if I'll ever find a place I'll feel compelled to settle down in. Does anyone else feel like this? Uncomfortable staying put? I wonder if I'm just running from something. Using travel as an excuse not to settle, go back to school, figure out what I want in life, build career ect.

Me, I've been like that. Not exactly the same as you, but throughout my 20's I didn't manage to maintain a residence for more than a year, I was bouncing back and forth between places. I was always looking for a place to settle. I wasn't traveling, in my opinion, I was moving from one place to another because I couldn't live in the previous place for one reason or another. I wanted to live in Sweden. When I got to live there, ...well, let's just say that the novelty of a new country wears off. I've lived in the US, Canada, Sweden and Finland and I just recently concluded almost a year in Algeria. I set a major record in Finland, living there for nearly 10 years and 9½ of them in the same apartment. I got an itch to leave, though, after 5 years. Now I'm essentially homeless . Well, I'm at my mother's for a bit, until I get my act together. I can't decide wear to settle, but I'm thinking either Canada or Sweden. It's hard to choose when you have so many countries to choose from.
