Angry 4 Minutes

Does anybody know what Madonna's 4 minutes song Means. If the song is really only about saving the world then that is really lame. I think it might mean something dealing with sex too but that would also be really boring. If anybody can think of what that song means with a little depth to the song please post.

Nopes, it's about making out, or perhaps sex.

After watching it twice, I don't think it's meant to have any deep meaning. It looks like they just added that stuff in to give the song a little more flavour.

I have no idea what the song is about... I like the videoclip though.

What I don't like about the song is the ego-tripping. When Justin calls out Madonna's name, like she is somekind of goddess he is worshipping. I turns me off when artists include their own name in the lyrics.

I doubt any song Madonna writes from now on is merely superficial.

This is 100% LOA/Kabbalah related...

The key phrases are:

If you want it
Ya already got it
If you thought it
It better be what you want

If you feel it
It must be real just
Say the word and
I'ma give you what you want
___

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. (In the video it's difficult to hear if she is really saying heaven or hell there)

_____

But if I die tonight at least I can say I did what I wanted to do
Tell me how 'bout you?

Time is waiting...we only got 4 minutes to save the world....

4 minutes = 4 years (2012 is the supposed end of the world as we know it...)

According to Kabbalah, we can change the outcome of that fate...

It's "heaven", I looked up the lyrics

And I thought I was the only one who noticed the LoA reference in the lyrics! Especially this part: "If you thought it, It better be what you want". Dun, dun, dun, dun... you have been warned!

I don't like the say-my-name egotrip (uh, uh, uh, madonnaaaaa!), but I think you're right about the lyrics not being completely superficial. I'm not sure about the 4 minutes = 4 years theory though. I think that might be a bit pushing it.

Might be but if you read Kabbalah you would see what I mean.

The lyrics I looked up said "hell," by the way, but when I listen I think she's saying heaven. Which makes more sense in the context of our interpretation.

I found another theory online: there's a doomsday clock that is set to 5 minutes before twelve, showing how close to destruction our planet is. Madonna thinks it's more urgent and sings about us only having 4 minutes to save the world. That theory also makes sense...

I like Madonna's newer stuff because it has a lot of spiritual references and her music is a lot smarter these days and it's all about pushing yourself to be a better person. I also found out she studies Kabbalah, something I'm really into. Good music for personal development.
