The fellow who plays the Iraqi guy works out here at my gym -- pretty cute! But I've never seen the show. Is it good? Did you get addicted?

Ohh I watch it!

It's the best program ever, right up there with Scrubs and Family Guy!

I think it's cool... one of the few shows I do watch.

Not sure if it's your cup of tea, though, seeing as there are quite a few Oracle-y characters in the cast.

I love Oracles, Jim! Also Greek choruses. And narration by Orson Welles, too.

Just finished the Six Feet Under DVD box which was fantastic.
Maybe it's time for a new addiction, heard Lost is great.

Yep...I'm hooked. I've been watching it since the beginning. I'm so hooked that I often will NOT watch it when it airs, only because I can't stand having it interrupted by commercials. So I'll either record it, or go to abc.com and watch it online. Honestly, I think the best way to watch it is on the season DVDs. To be able to watch episodes back-to-back is a lot of fun. On occasion, I've gone through a whole disk while doing a bike training ride on my indoor trainer.

I love lost - I was starting to get a bit peeved with it, but the last 2 episodes have been fantastic and I'm back into it again.

Our friends come over specially to watch it on a Sunday evening and then we chat about what it all means!

I stopped watching it when I heard that it was originally only meant to be 3 series long at most then scriptwriters were bribed to string it out for tv.

Not good.

Plus I'd rather improve myself through reading or relax in other more productive ways.

You people need to watch "The Wire"....I'm serious.

Not only is it the best TV show ever made, it's also the most important, and it's close as it gets to real life....more than any of those stupid "MTV reality" shows.

Yup. He's a nice fellow with a great smile. I recognized him not from Lost, which I've never seen, but from Kama Sutra and The English Patient.

Don't the actors all live in Hawaii? And aren't you in L.A.?

He shows up at intervals and I'll see him in there for a few days. I guess that's when the show is on hiatus (or maybe the writer's strike.) He must have a home here in Santa Monica -- I understand his girlfriend, Barbara Hershey, lives around here somewhere. This place is crawling with actors. and they never look the way they do in magazines and on red carpets!

Ah, yeah, especially with Lost when each episode may not even feature each actor. My sister, who lives in Brentwood, sees Barbara Hershey upon occasion, near Santa Monica.

She used to see Arnold and Maria in their Hummer there too.
