LifeFirst is on a distinguished road
Default There has been a subtle change in me...

I don't know how many you guys watch television, because I know most of you has abandoned it. Yeah I know there is a perfectly reason why that most TV needs to go, because it's useless in our everyday self-improvement.

That's why right now, I'm telling you guys about something that is conductive to your self-improvement. I'm talking about the best ****** TV show ever made in the history of ever: "The Wire"

Critics have compared this show to Charles Dickens' novels. Well, I have only read 2 of his novels, and I'd say "The Wire" is really literature, and not a TV show at all.

Well, "The Wire" is unlike anything else on television because it is the closest thing to real life I have ever seen in any movie, or TV. You can say that it's a documentary just with actors, but there is nothing like this on TV. Simply because it's written in "novel" form. Watching "The Wire" is the equivalent to reading a novel, and seriously, it's better than most novels that i have read.

I recently finished Season 4 and I have to say it IS real life. More real than any reality TV show you can think of. It is absolutely intelligent and more than perfect. When I think of "The Wire", I don't think of it as a television show at all. I think of it as a social-documentary on Life, pretty much.

And watching this show has changed me, I'm not saying I'm doing a 180 but.....there's a subtle change.

It is without a doubt, the most important show in America, it is in a sense, education for many people.

The sad thing is that "The Wire" has never won an emmy or an award. It should easily win in nearly every single category (from best writing to best acting). Here is the reason why it has never gotten much attention:

70% of the cast is Black, and the setting is in the projects and ghettos of inner-city Baltimore.

Plus, this is the only show that I have seen where there isn't a main character (There are literally 50 main characters, some will disappear for 3-4 episodes at a time)

Plus, lots of Blacks, but every single one of the characters are extremely integral to the story, and realistically portrayed.

Plus, there is no music at all in the show. The story is extremely intricate and slow, and you have to follow it as if you're reading a novel.

But I think that is the reason why you people will enjoy it so much, you will appreciate the best dialogue, the best acting, and the meticulous story-telling that you will never find anywhere. Plus, it is the best and the most IMPORTANT show ever made. It's a contribution to society.
