Angela will become famous soon enough
Default Any Greek music fans out there?

I have a recording of a song and I'd like to track down the singer; I wonder if there are any knowedgeable Greek music listeners out there can help.

Glykeria is the main singer, and she's doing this slow, sexy chiftitelli duet with a guy with a really deep voice. My fingers are tired from googling, and I can't figure out who this fellow is (although I did find another really wonderful singer, Nikos Papazoglou.)

I thought it was on the same album as Miserlou, but I couldn't find it that way -- it's not on the classic Greek songs cd. Does it sound familiar to anyone?

Angie, this is doubtely what you want to know about Greek music, but I can't resist

The only Greek band I know is Septic Flesh. And it is resonating with my mood now

"Maybe we, ourselves want to forget
helping the truth to grow old
and be deformed from the wrinkles
of uncertainty
Afraid where the path backwards will
lead us
we prefer to be protected
under the shelter of ignorance"

SEPTIC FLESH LYRICS - Mystic Places Of Dawn (1994)
