| Archaeology books for an essay due on Friday. Mostly 'An Archaeology of Natural Places' by Richard Bradley at the moment (which is fairly intersting). Got to pick up Chris Tilley's big orange book on Phenomenology soon (I can't remember the title off the top of my head unfortunately). |

| "Automatic Millionaire" by David Bach. I love the 10% rule |

| It was an interesting read. I found it to be the literary equivelant of James Burke's 'Connections' television series. I found some of the conclusions that the authors came to be highly questionable, which brings the rest of them into question as well. |

| I've just finished the excellent The Path: A One-Mile Walk Through the Universe from Chet Raymo. ![]() You don't have to wander far to be confronted with the mysteries and amazements of nature!

| A friend just handed me Mutant Message Down Under by Marlo Morgan. It has been around for a few years but it is still considered an underground classic. There is chapter entitled Cordless Phone where she discusses how the Real People (an Australian aboriginal tribe) can communicate using telepathy which she believes anyone can do if they have nothing to hide.

| I spent an hour last night listening to an awesome webinar featuring Jeffrey Schwartz (author of The Mind and the Brain) and David Rock (author of Quiet Leadership) as they discuss the neuroscience of leadership at strategy-business.com. It covered some very interesting ideas and I highly recommend it. I have read "Quiet Leadership" and it made the point the most effective way to improve is to create new connections. |

| I'm currently reading "Ask and it is given", but I find it not very easy to read. I mean, it's like i would read a chapter, but not really know a lot of what's in it, i just have a vague idea.

| I'm reading Bringers of the Dawn by Barbara Marciniak. It is a channeled book about enlighened beings who have come to Earth to help us evolve. It was published in 1992 and is certainly "out there" but it does have some great information that I think everyone could relate to. John

| Seven Deadly Wonders by Matt Reilly Collapse by Jared Diamond I don't think I'm going to finish either. Seven Deadly Wonders isn't very good and Collapse is really long.

| I am currently reading, "The Myth of Self-Esteem" by Albert Ellis. So far I like it. |
| |||
| I finished Dumas' work, and in the meantime read Outbound Flight, a Star Wars novel, yesterday and Privilege of the Sword, by Ellen Kushner, today. I recommend the last most heartily. It'll be in my signature in a moment. edit: or it won't be. Who changed the permitted length of signatures on me while I wasn't looking?
