| That's who I was thinking of -- Christopher Pike who ended up an interstellar vegetable, I can't remember why. We used to call that episode, "The Buttheads" because of the shape of the aliens' noggins. Are you talking about another Christopher Pike? |

| I'm referring to the fiction author Christopher Pike. Maybe the Star Trek Captain Christopher Pike moved onto writing sci-fi thrillers after his injury? Sounds plausible considering the circumstances. Quote:

| OMG Dan, I knew we were sympatico! Christopher Pike is awesome. I've read every single one of his books. I didn't know he was still writing. Is this an adult book or a young adult book? I wanted to name our daughter Sati. You know why.  But Steve wouldn't let me.
