Congratulations!

I went from 50 to 500 posts in a month, so maybe you can go from 1000 to 2000 posts in a month.

Congratulations.... I stopped posting long time ago when I realized that, even the forum had alreadly started.... I became the bigger poster of the board.... I decided to take holidays. And maybe I'll soon do the same, unless there's a lot above the millenium figure.

He's also no longer here (a shame) so you probably can catch up with him!

Shamou would make it, if they hadn't banned him permanently.

By the way, congrats AL! I will get there someday.

I think it was unfair but i'm not the one deciding things on this forum.

From the last post on this thread: Shamou Banned?

By Steve Pavlina (can't quote it because the thread is locked):

"Unfortunately Shamou has been permanently banned this time. After repeatedly asking him to stop derailing threads, he kept on doing so with seemingly little concern for how it was affecting others, especially in the I-M and Psi forums. The mods and I continued to receive complaints about him, several just in the past few days.

We discussed this in the mods forum, and the consensus was that Shamou just wasn't going to follow the posted forum rules no matter how much we asked him to and would have to be dropped as a forum member. He's still free to read the forums, but he won't be able to post anymore.

I emailed Shamou to let him know and told him I regret that it had to turn out like this.

My responsibility is to preserve the value of these forums for all members. While I'm not a stickler for mindless rules, I think the rule set we have here is very fair and helps make this community so unique, open, and intelligent in its discussions. Every member agrees to adhere to the community rules when joining.

I opted to close this thread, since I really don't want it to turn into a big divisive argument about whether Shamou should or shouldn't have been banned. I take responsibility for the decision, so if you wish to share your opinion on it with me, feel free to PM me."

I miss the phat debates we were having months ago. They were so useful for generating a high post count... er, uh, intellectual stimulation. Yeah. That's it.

congrats akashic, and I'm sure many more to come. Just don't want to be TOO excessive in your posts.
