 Anybody know of resources for fun historical tales? Hey guys, I'm going to a retreat with this group I'm involved with, and I've been assigned as storyteller for an evening. I really like historical tales, about kings, conquerors, romance, or tales from india, or fables. What are some good resources for really great historical stories-can be funny, interesting, or even spiritual, the emotion the story gives really doesn't matter. It also doesn't have to be true at all, could be like a legend or myth. They have to be relatively short though, because my audience is not that mature, haha kids have short attention spans.. Thanks

| In general either wikipedia or Main Page - Gutenberg (they have an enomous collection of out of copywrite books). If you stories, why not take the excellent Aesops fables? |
