I swear I'm not making this up:

"State lawmaker Ernie Chambers filed a lawsuit Friday against the Almighty -- acknowledging he/she goes by numerous aliases -- for causing "fearsome floods, egregious earthquakes, horrendous hurricanes, terrifying tornadoes, pestilential plagues" and other alliterative catastrophes."

I saw this too and as a former Nebraska resident it made me smile. Ernie Chambers is really something else. He'd be eccentric any where, but in the land of make-nice, he's out of this world..........

Now I can start with the lawyer jokes! Since God is master of all that is he would be the deepest of pockets for a lawyer to sue. How many legal firms would be willing to bring a class action suit against the almighty? A judgment might be difficult to enforce though.
