Has anybody here eaten a durian? I know there are some people from Singapore and Southeast Asia on the forums, and I wanted to know if any of you have had the pleasure of trying this delightful fruit. One of my friends is supposed to import one, and I'm looking forward to experiencing it. More information on the fruit can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Durian |

| Durian is absolutely wonderful! I live in Davao City in the Philippines and right now is the height of durian season. The good Durian currently cost twenty five Peso per Kilo. Come to my house and I will give you all the durian you want to eat. Here the people say it smells like hell and tastes like heaven. ! For me the smell was very strong but after I had my first bite the smell was not bad to me, sort of like when a person smells garlic and then tastes it the smell is no longer off putting. |
