Default Why did you choose the nick you have here?

I took mine because someone I talked to found that things that I wrote was Life Giving and that I was a Life giver, traslated into Swedish life giver is Livgivare which sounds a bit more soft then life giver so I use a Swedish word here.

Shamou was the name of my favorite Bulldog... I have chosen his name to honor him... So, now you can find that name in over 13,000 posts along with being the name of, "Shamou International Publishing Company" which is a company that my son and I set up five years ago...

If you Google for Shamou you will get 12,400 sites... which is just a little bit under my total post count...

I actually started out using Addict as a 'tag' when spray painting. It's probably too long to be a good tag and I'm sure someone else has used it before:

And I guess the whole thing stems from what I view as numerous addictions to hobbies and vices.

The Akashic Librarian...

The person who knows everything, who guards all knowledge in the universe, who carefully tends to the lines of fate that criss-cross across all of existence. the custodian of Time, and gatekeeper to the secrets of existence.

The Librarian appears in many forms, an old man, an old women, simply a formless cloud of energy, anything your heart wishes. He (for the sake of simplicity in typing) can guide you to anything you wish to know, caution you as to the dangers ahead, and counsel you as to wherein the Records you should direct your attention...

The Librarian is also...

Totally made up.

I made him up, shall we say as an Ideal Me. Thats what i aspire to, not a librarian for the universal repositorey of all knowledge, but more as a knowledgeable guardian of...things.

When I first came here I was in a place of searching. I wanted clarity. And I just like the word aspiring in addition to it being applicable. I do regret the choice to put all that 'punctuation' in there. Kinda a pain upon login! If I could, I would start fresh with a new name.

A company that is funded is this century should have google hits, why doesn't yours?

For the most part, yes. We have a great landmark on our campus called "the Free Expression Tunnel." Go check out some of the historical photos; I find it pretty interesting myself:

I've also done a little bit of stenciling on shirts and canvas.

Actually it's not really made up.

In esoteric teachings there are Akashic Records that are a record of your soul's activities throughout eternity. Edgar Cayce talks about the Akashic Library in his work. Akashic is an eastern term.

I wanted something that has absolutely nothing to do with me in rl and nothing with the nicks I use on other forums either. "Rose of Cairo" is a reference to "the purple rose of cairo" this movie by Woody Allen I saw as a teen and almost don't remember because I can't bear Woody Allen

I chose my nick because I am on here to seek the ways to substantially improve most facets of my life, thus I am seeking knowledge, and the path to get to where I want to get. Someone else had already chosen "seeker" (but apparently only posted once), so I just tackled a number to the end and came up with seeker5. I've become quite fond of the nick.

I use my real first name
as my internet nick name is quite the interesting phenomenon.

as brandi I stand naked befor you. emotionally raw. a cerebral being.
no costumes, just another way to seek and express my truths
& encourage others.

I'm not SL here. it's not show time.
brandi is who i am when nobody is looking.
brandi is what my heart says. who i am.
a seeker of god and love and all that is good and honest.

i feel safe to honor my beliefs with out judgement here and i really enjoy the many phylosophies (sp?)

what better way to stand befor you other than who i am.
brandi a student of life
and a being of love and great blessing.

Haha Shamou whenever I thought of your name, I always thought of the Whale at Seaworld. But after reading where your name comes from....I think my mind will still associate the name with the whale

Anyway my name is an electric guitar techqniue that was commonly overused in the 80s. Just think Edward Van Halen.
