I especially like its terrific Google integration since I use GMail and Google calendar. It also works great with Twitter and Facebook.

I've been installing and testing a variety of Android apps today. Curious to know what your favorites are and what they do. I already have quite a list to check out, but it doesn't take long to install and test each one (a few minutes each on avg).

My current favorite app is Google Sky Map. I tried to use MS Paint to pixel away all the white colors to the background of this forum, but the result looked bad since I was using 2D to change a 3D picture.

So, anyone knows how I can change background color on this 3D image?

Firefox is my default browser and I capture most of my email in Windows Live Mail (as I have about 20 different email accounts acqured over the years). Until a couple of days ago, if I clicked a link in an email, it would open in Firefox. Now, it is opening in Internet Explorer.

(Edit: there was an update a couple of days ago which seemed to screw it. I have uninstalled the update and rebooted but it's made no difference).

HTM files are showing the IE icon even though I have manually selected Firefox as the default program and even though if I DO click on them, then they open in Firefox.

Anyone got a clue how I can force Windows Live Mail to stop opening links in IE and why that IE icon is now attaching itself to all my HTM files?

I have looked in tools, options etc everywhere I can think of to look.

(And please no remarks about Linux I am not going there. I am on Windows XP on a netbook). There is a trickle of traffic there, but nothing much yet. Haven't started marketing the site much yet.

Today I noticed one thing in Google analytics. In the map view, some of the hits I had previously are no longer there. I remember having 9 visits from Brazil, one from Marocco, a couple from Iceland and more. Now there is nothing on these countries.

I haven't done any changes or reset any counters. Is this a bug in analytics?

Not a blog, a real website. I don't know how to start her in the right direction. Should she use a specific software? Any books? She knows a little about html coding, but she needs to also learn how to design and plan the thing out. So...two pieces to it - the technical and the design...

I'm thrilled for her to do this. Her birthday is coming up, and if there is a software package that would set her on her way, that would be an awesome present.

She's envisioning a place where other kids could go and create little viritual pets (like many of the online stuff she already does).
