What do you think of Tony Parsons message? He's a spiritual teacher of the advaita/nondual persuasion.

His message might be summed up like this: There is no such thing as enlightenment because there is no one to become enlightened!

Here's an interview with him from last year. It's great. He projects a calm and joyful presence even through the video.

The Act of Creation

We solidify the wave from the awareness into the particle of consciousness. The void consumes reality. As our new state of “higher spiritual awareness” evolves, a better, clearer understanding will consume the realized self and all of its flaws. The essence (Being) will assemble creation and move toward potential. This potential state of purity brings us to the path that leads toward everything we are about to become. If we choose to achieve our potential as a piece of the puzzle, then all things within that attentive space will move in and connect to create the whole. The Being warps space, creating an “indention into consciousness” where all things within that indention begin to fall into the direction of the newly warped space. When complete, our will is done, and the essence to adapt the ability transcends the effort into matter. This is the point where all the effort and preparation displays on the physical plane. On a personal level, this is the equivalent of experiencing changes of attitude and gaining new traits of our chosen, true, and pure state.

Our true self (the self that strives for its highest potential in a state of purity) will continue to expand its awareness. It will change, accomplish, and serve its purpose in the universal order with consciousness. Matter will physically manifest and will transcend. It will not only transcend the spiritual to the physical, but it will also create the chemical balance of science. It will recognize the ionic exchange, creating a balance of etheric and matter that corresponds to evolution. This is an explanation of how our thoughts can make a change and come through physically. To understand these points, we must remember several things. The essence creates the physical playground, which is then the grounding effect. The “energy-being” goes forth to search all potentials. It creates infinite possibilities by using mental time continuums (beliefs that must be experienced) that go back to the essence (Being) and recreates these beliefs into new realities. Because of the energy build-up, we will transcend the chemical balance of science and our development of consciousness. In this aspect, we may correspond to our true course of evolution: Space occupied, space experienced, potential realized, potential extrapolated, and reality recreated.

Spiritual beliefs at work

Hello everyone. I have a question regarding my current line of work as a music teacher, and my spiritual beliefs and interests.

I currently teach at one of the best music schools in Europe, which I really enjoy - It’s such a great institution and I get to work with people that I like and feel good about. I’m very grateful for such an opportunity. :)

Right now, my main interests in life are not music, but other aspects of personal development, especially spiritual and psychic development and the LOA. I devote a lot of time and energy to these areas and have been seriously considering doing such work professionally.

I don’t as of yet have a personal, face-to-face, output for discussing or practicing concepts of a spiritual or psychic nature though, and at work, I have wanted to speak about such topics. But I have sensed that some of those I work with may not be receptive or supportive to spiritual and psychic matters, so I have kept my mouth shut. I have been a little scared of how others I work with would react if I told them I was into psychic stuff and afraid of how it would affect my reputation (ego), which up until this point in my life, has been almost entirely based on music.

It’s ironic that given that a portion of my inner work has been on being less egocentic (many people tell me I’m very modest in light of my accomplishments as it is) and more humble, that one of my main concerns is about my ego...

Has anyone here been through a similar dilemma regarding work and spiritual beliefs, and If so, how have you dealt with it?

Understanding Manifesting

We should come to bear ourselves as our own responsibility and experience our realities as shining representations of where we currently are as responsible Creational Masters. It is through this responsibility that our integrity grows and our confidence becomes unshakable. Confidence is the hallmark of enlightenment.

We must decide to make our own path or follow the beaten path of others. Most follow the paved path. Those who follow the paved path soon fall, become beaten down, and forever feel abandoned. The inner Creational Master within these people is covered up and has lost sight of his or her own divine light. We should not be fooled by the notion of having to remember something we have lost because we, as Creational Masters, could never do that. Instead, we should use our creative fortitude to make new realizations and understandings to forge ahead. Thus, we must embark upon the great journey that only we can design and only we can create. I urge everyone to live by design and not by chance. When we deny our personal responsibility, judgments and justifications become our source of rescue. These will take us further and further into the “portals of the mind.” As a result, our attention freezes, our actions lessen, and our fortitude dies. Our brain turns to mush, our actions slow, and we turn into a statue frozen in time. We are then glued to one reality of suffering, where complaining becomes our constant friend.

By using an organized and open philosophy, such as Creotology, we can explore our own beliefs and not worry about adhering to other’s beliefs. No belief matters except our own. Creotology is a bridge that allows us to expand and recover our creative potential into the next bridge of consciousness we wish to build. In fact, earth is the physical experience that is prepared for us to learn more about energy and its use. The more an “energy-being” resists the creation on this dimension, the more the creation will persist. Anything that will not dissolve is a resistance created by the subjective mind and, therefore, will persist. In this resistance, all pain and suffering is caused and maintained.

Never has there been anything before us, and there will be nothing after us; we are and will always be forever. All we need to do is to supply our own road map and accept our own responsibility to take us there (hence, self-responsibility). Evolution is nothing more than space occupied. The Being is the foundation that moves energy into making things happen. It has the ability to move across space and time and to create change with the power of consciousness. This is how we achieve our fullest realized potential.

Exploration into Consciousness

Every creation must begin with a belief, which creates the space for a manifestation. Manifesting the consciousness solidifies through the act of the idea of “I Am” or the self concept. This allows the energy to release from awareness (the void) into consciousness. Once released into consciousness, it sustains itself by using attention.

Attention acts like gravity and keeps the energy in a solid state. This is more like a particle affect. Energy normally travels in waves and particles. Attention creates and sustains “reality.” Our law should be the correct use and understanding of our will. The outer reality is within our personal reality. The macrocosm (a complex system seen as a single unit) is the self, and the identity it creates is the microcosm (a small version of something larger). This is the creation of the universe by the awareness, which experiences as the self.

Therefore, the macrocosm contains and reflects the microcosm. The capacity for it to exist is solidified by the belief that all possibilities must exist somewhere in the universe. Energy travels for one reason: to realize the potential within all possibilities and workings of the macrocosm. It must also have order. Thus, it must follow our personal laws of creation. Our laws are accepted by the possibility that we work within time and space. The awareness (Being) knows no boundary except for the individual mind within which it works all of its parallel realities.

I'm a fellow Unificationist, or a Moonie, whatever you know us by. I'm 19, and at the age when I question ever thing in front of me, and biggest of all is my faith. I'v been struggling with our religion for awhile, I support a lot of its ideas, but its principle is what i struggle with.

I'm not sure if anyone knows a lot about it, but I'm interesting in your understanding of our church. If you don't know who we are, here are some well known things about our church.
* Rev Sung Myung Moon started our church/movment(Korean)
* Were Christian based, we believe in Jesus, yet believe his task wasn't complete and the new Messiah(Rev Moon) is the third coming, finishing Jesus task.
* Our most well known act is the Mass Marriages. Individuals from around the world come together to get "matched"(engaged/married) together. They are pick for each other by Rev Moon.
* We believe his family is the "True Parents", setting the examples of an ideal family centered on God.

They're are loads more, but these are a few you might know us by. I don't believe in most of the highlights, but im still a part of it.

I'm just wondering what everyone things about it. Thanks!

150 Good Spiritual Quotes

There is absolutely nothing to do or fix - ever. Doing and fixing are outgrowths of imagining a separate person and a 'doer'. Is there really any entity in there doing anything, making anything happen at all? Or are thoughts, feelings and perceptions spontaneously appearing? If so, then all is happening as it is bound to happen, and there is no basis for imagining 'doership'.

seeking explanation for tingling sensation in hands & feet

As per the title of this thread, I have a strange tingling, aching sort of sensation in my feet and sometimes my hands, mostly in my right hand. This is not a symptom of a physical condition, it's just not that kind of senastion, although it could be physiological - caused, for example, through stress. It comes and goes, and I am tending to get it mostly when I am having a tense thought, like in preparing for an upcoming job interview, and when taking deep breaths in and out when having a tense thought. It feels very odd to think I might experiencing anxiety in my feet!

Does anyone have any decent knowledge of the chakra system and the feet and hand chakras and how they relate? The sensation is strongest in the K1 meridian point in my right foot, and in my left pinkie finger.

I know that some people experience this when meditating or during/after reiki, however mine doesn't really apply to either.

The obvious answer is that I might need to do some grounding work, which could very well be possible, but I'm wondering if it might be more around the receiving or expelling of energy into the earth.

Or perhaps you have a good knoweldge of the spiritual/energetic relevance of the feet and hands that could send me in the right direction.

Any ideas? All are welcome.. :)
