Well, I've been searching Erin's blog where she explained something similar. She put a Simpson episode he saw three times some day or so. I can't find it but I have lived quite the same today. I'm a fan of synch(ronicitie)s. But always half-skeptic or... not wanting to take as synchs what is just meaningless casuality... This morning I decided to finally leave my parents home (I'm 29, it's not very early!. :-)). Not doing it tomorrow, but start looking for a flat to move on, etc.. But, in the afternoon I went to a bar that was silent. And they started playing "Stand by me", the classic song. I thought "...", you know, but not much... I walked away from the bar and I entered the next one, and they started playing.... a cover of "Stand By Me". Okey!. Then I decided to put my decision on hold, maybe I'm wrong, I want to leave home... but.. I love my parents... maybe I've got to hold back in spite I want to leave. Shortly after, in a bus, I was seating just next to my mother and they started playing... yes! "Stand by Me". I gave up and put my arm around her shoulder, I'm not gonna leave, at least now. I don't know why I should remain here a little more, but okey, I'll do it. I remind Erin saw the episode of the Simpsons three times too (in a day). mmm... I don't know if the 3 times mean something, like 3 warnings that are the usual warning or whatever... YouTube - Stand By Me Ben E King 1961

I love song synchronicities... they happen to me a lot! What a neat story. The first one I noticed for me was almost 17 years ago. I heard John Denver's "Rocky Mountain High" in my head for *days*. Every time I'd quiet my mind, there it would be, also every morning when I woke up. I'm a John Denver fan, but this seemed excessive. I ended up meeting a man at a concert, and we went out to dinner. Over dinner, he told me he had been on his way to just a "normal" conventional life, but when he was 27, he visited the Rocky Mountains for the first time. He had never even left his home state (NC) before. There was something about that trip that completely woke him up, and he had been interested in really *living* ever since then. So... I started singing "Rocky Mountain High" to him! He was born in the summer of his 27th year Coming home, to a place he'd never been before He left yesterday behind him You might say he was born again You might say he found the key to every door We both just busted out laughing, and were good friends for quite awhile, until we lost touch after he moved away. Do you think you could still "stand by" your parents, even if you didn't live with them? Are you moving out just because you think it's time, or do you really WANT to move? Thanks for telling your story! Last edited by carenkh : 08-26-2007 at 02:15 AM. Reason: misspelling

Do you think you could still "stand by" your parents, even if you didn't live with them? Are you moving out just because you think it's time, or do you really WANT to move? Thanks for telling your story! After accepting to stay... or choosing to stay, I've seen things much clearer. All I had to do is changing the attitude (how many times that is important!) in the relationship with my parents... There's no good reason move yet really unless I don't deal well with my parents... I need a better job to move or a girlfriend, lol... if not it's not time I think... but I was in one of those moments when you think there's no way of making things work. All I had to do is fix my comunication ways. Thank you Synch.
