Yep! And this goes beyond Erin's "business." It's the same in any field. With as much information that is online these days, you have to decide whose advice rings true to you. It's especially true in my biz, the SEO biz. I wrote about this awhile back: So Many SEO Gurus — They’re Sooooo Confused! It applies to SEO, personal development, and basically anything! |

I've always been a bit of a bookworm from a large family of bookworms. Get togethers invariably involve book swops (mainly novels & biographys). Spiritual books are different. My Dad and I are the only ones interested in them and between us we've acquired a small library. A few years ago I did readings in a New Age shop that bought and sold second hand books, so many of the good books ended up in my collection which I lent out to people in my classes. For some reason visions and psychic downloads have always preceded information in books. Significant books have zapped me on the shelf or the pages flood with colour as I skim through them. I remember one book sent a bolt of energy through my body across a busy auditorium. It kept zapping me until I located it. As I picked it off the shelf an older casually dresssed man started to explain that it was the second book in a trilogy and I suggested I read the first book. The book was dancing with light in my hand and I laughed and said, 'No I'm sorry but it's this one I need.' The man flicked the cover open and began writing in it. I realised that he was the author. I couldn't ask any questions because I hadn't a clue what the book was about. Meeting him and chatting with him was hugely significant to the way I related to his experiences as I later read it. It also shifted my perspectives on myself. Some of the books I've bought and not read for several years. Then when the is right they've literally fallen off the shelf. More often than not has only been part of a book that's significant. The more you experience and the more you read, you'll begin to sense the parts that resonate with you. Lallymac |
