Not to rain on your parade, but for your first one, you might want to start with just a 1 day workshop or even half a day. There's a TON that goes into getting this sort of thing off the ground and after you've done one once, you'll know better what to expect. (If you've already done these in the past, then nevermind!)

I would highly suggest that you hire a professional event planner to help as well.

Luckily for us we know a lot of people here in town who can help us. I'm not worried about the logistics too much. Steve has done a 6 hour seminar before which was very information intensive.

What we're probably looking like is Friday night for a few hours, all day Saturday, and most of Sunday but not all day so people can get home for Monday. We're probably looking at about 20 hours worth of content total.

"Erin's reading was unbelievably insightful. In just 20 minutes she helped me sort through 4 major areas of my life that I've been struggling with in therapy for more than 8 years! I was stunned. I'm truly amazed at her abilities, and I am so thankful I found her when I did." - Jeanette in Tulsa, OK

@Jill: Good advice. As Erin mentioned, I already did a one-day workshop in November 2006. I think it was 9am to 4pm on a Saturday. There were about 50 attendees. I certainly had help, but it went smoothly and the feedback was positive. I feel more than ready to do a longer workshop to pack in more material and value. A single day can go pretty quick if there are interactive exercises.
