| Hello everyone: I love this forum and Erin, she made the most brilliant comment that instantly adjusted my life long omnivore diet to reflect my developing ethically balanced lifestyle. My question is, for a long time I've wanted to schedule a reading with Erin, but I have an issue with learning my future. There is something in particular that I really want to pursue, but I've always been exceptionally influenced by what other people have said to me. I'm afraid if I have a reading with Erin, and it goes against what I want, then I will be so discouraged that I will give up. For example, say I wanted to be a lawyer. I got through law school, but I attempted to pass the bar twice with no luck. I have a reading with Erin who says that she doesn't see me passing the bar. In the grand scheme of things, everyone has free will, and the future can always change. However, knowing me and what I want, I would be destroyed if Erin told me she didn't see me passing the bar. I'm afraid knowing my future would leave me so heartbroken that I would stop studying, even though, technically, my future is what I make it and I have the power to change it. Like I stated before, I really want a reading with Erin, I'm just afraid I would hear something that would discourage me from pursuing my dreams. Any ideas on how to deal with this so I can finally make an appointment with Erin? I would love to hear any success stories, I love reading the testimonials, but I've yet to see a case similar to mine. Thanks in advance, Traci |

Also, you can take the reading but dont ask about your career. Just let Erin know. |

From my experience with higher selves and guides, the only things they will dissuade your from are goals that are programmed into you by others and that does not fit with your true nature. If that is the case with your current path, wouldn't you want to know? Especially if you tend to listen to much to other people... A reading from a good psychic, which Erin seems to be, is not like listening to others, it's more like getting advice from oneself through somebody else. A reading from a not so good psychic is a different story. Maybe that is the distinction you need to get clear about for yourself? Just my spontaneous thoughts when reading your post, they may be totally misguided so only listen to me if it feels right to you |

| Yes like unicorn said... If you are not meant to be doing what you think you want to do, the guides will tell you but they will also tell you why, and they will guide you towards something else that will resonate with you. But it's true that if people aren't ready, willing or able to face a dissuading answer then they shouldn't ask the question. There can be resistance. If you're very attached to a certain outcome then hearing that you aren't "supposed" to be heading that way can be very off putting. I will say that the guides don't pull any punches. It's a rare opportunity to speak with you so they won't waste it. But they are always kind in their approach. Which is to say sometimes you need a shot in the arm and I can't say the needle won't hurt but the drug going through your vein should still feel pretty good.
