Are intuitive readings cheating?

So far I've had two intuitive readings with Erin, both were truly fascinating and insightful!

I'm wondering, though, if the powers-that-be consider it cheating?

In other words, if there is something on my mind and I go to Erin for clarification, are my guides disapointed because I took a shortcut or are they pleased that I was clever enough to find a person who could give me needed insight?

Believe me, they are pleased and I'll tell you why. Everyone has the ability to tune in to their guides and higher self and angels, etc. Most people just don't have the "radio" turned on. Imagine your guides sitting around a conference table every week trying to knock some sense into you and you're not even tuned in. All their emails get bounced back as "undeliverable", or, god help you, "mailbox full."

One of my guides is specifically in charge of tracking down these hapless miscreants and nudging them into finding me so they can get a reading and unclog their spiritual inbox. Once the flow gets going again, it's all good.

I would personally call the impulse to contact Erin to BE your successfully hearing, processing, responding to, and taking action regarding messages from spirit.

You gave me a reading the monday after the I can do it conference...thanks again, it was super. I certainly recommend Erin to anyone who needs a psychic or just some great advice!

In the reading, you mentioned my guides think meditation isn't a big 'to do' for me because I 'am less intuitive than clever'. I am sure there are other people like me who are not that intuitive...can we all really access our guides or are some of us just on another frequency?

In other words, should I make an effort to contact my guides, or should I rely on the awesome folks like you to bridge that gap?

I have tried the guides meditation you mentioned and could hardly keep still during it...I just had a feeling of antsy discomfort the whole time. Maybe not used to the energy or something? Before I even got to the top of the stairs, I just had to get up and away from that chair! I felt almost compelled to get up and run away! It was weird, but since my meditation time always turns into 'nap time' it didn't really bug me. However, I would love to tune in to talk to my guides occasionally!

Anyone else get this feeling?

It's hard for me to say whether everyone can tune in to their guides. As someone who has always been intuitive and probably pretty well connected I can't fathom not being able to. But perhaps it's like Steve not being able to fathom the color purple because he is color blind.

I don't think you NEED to tune in to your own guides. But anyone who wants to should definitely work at it and see for themselves how far they get. I may take it for granted because it comes easily to me. I'll have to think about that a little. It's like asking if everyone on the planet is capable of becoming a body builder or if some body types just aren't that well suited to it.

It could be that one of your core beliefs is freaking you out a little and keeping you from connecting.
