What a perfect post!

I would love to learn from whom I consider the best psychic teacher (have I buttered you up enough yet?)

It would be wonderful if you could teach us here how to increase our levels of psychic abilities from the "Weakling Level" up. Sort of a step-by-step program.

Anyone else think this is a good idea??

I would love to hear some practical advice, too! So far, I've only been doing Doreen's Chakra Clearing meditation. No dramatic results to report yet. But I now really feel inspired by that exercise we did at Brian Weiss' workshop. It seemed like a glimpse at a phychic experience...

I'll probably do some psychic development "courses" eventually. But I am still learning myself so I want to make sure I can offer you guys the best of my knowledge before delving too far into it. I will probably start out with a meditation CD that includes a bunch of exercises to increase your connection with your guides, higher self, and angels, etc. Stay tuned on that.

While we are all looking forward to Erin's meditation CD maybe we could come up with a quick list of practical tips on how to increase psychic abilities, start practicing it and share experiences?

I got into this fairly recently and still not sure what works best. But here is what I started doing so far:

* meditate daily (Chakra clearing)
* practice finding empty parking spaces
* visualize callers before picking up the phone

Learn ImageStreaming. It could help developer powerful visualization skills and intuition. The book The Einstein Factor goes into detail about how this works and what effects it has on the brain and it's really quite amazing. I'm starting to do this now.

I think also that it is an ongoing practice with little weights at first. I use visualizations, affirmations, and moon magic specific to my path, Celtic Hedgewitch. I realize this forum is not pagan per se, but I hope you will welcome me. Many of us are on divergent spiritual paths all leading to the mountaintop as we perceive it. I spend a few minutes each morning in prayer, affirmation, and gratitude. During the day when I am walking or just sitting quietly I try to especially use feeling as an accelerator to manifestation. I feel what it would be like to be in body with 20 less pounds. I see myself, for example, with that new cast iron skillet, cooking at my stove. I have wanted one, but have not been able to currently justify the cost in my current budget. I am a lightweight, but for several years have disciplined myself to increase my psychic ability. It has paid off,and I notice a difference in my perception. One of my favorite authors who has influenced me is Stuart Wilde . I could not even classify him. He would not label himself New Age nor Wiccan. He is the one that states in one of his books about trying to manifest small things in your life first. Also, he is no nonsense down to earth, and at times irreverent. This is my first post here, and I hope to come back and check out what is happening on the forum from time to time. Hello all you seekers of wisdom no matter what your path.
