I wonder could it be that we have lived life before? Otherwise what is Deja Vu, how can someone be psychic and see the future. Also the only true way to pay back karma would be to live their life, wouldnt it? This is a weird concept I thought up the other day and I can't seem to dismiss it before I get these questions answered |

I'm not sure I understand your reference here. yes we have had past lives, nothing to do with deja vu though, which is a memory of the present or the very very near future. How can someone be psychic and read the future? Read my blog. karma, close. You don't need to live their life to pay back karma, you need to understand what your actions did to someone and how it made them feel and you need to understand and decide if you will do it again. |

Since I was a kid, I've had dreams which come to pass. They're often symbolic, and I don't know what they mean until they happen, but it does happen (one of my daughters has this, also). Sometimes in my waking state, I also get strong "premonitions" or understandings about what's going to happen, etc. They're usually just very general, never anything specific like winning lottery numbers (dang it! The thing I've finally come to realise after many, many years of trying to understand, is that the future is actually a kind of quantum (as my husband, the mathematician noted). You can see strong possibilities sometimes, but really, it's not set in stone as far as I can tell. The decisions that you and others make can change it. So while sometimes I can and do get a very clear and strong idea of what's "supposed to happen" or at least what's likely to happen, it doesn't always pan out the way I thought, or the way it appeared. Darned quantum, it confuses everyone, including the physicists who study it. |

Yeah I wonder what the ************ if that was the case it would jsut be a endless cycle, cause if u did something wrong in this life you could never make up for it cause it would just happen all over again exactly the same next life.

I have dipped in and out of the belief in reincarnation several times in the past. Currently, I am a bit skeptical about it (but open to persuasion). The problem is, it can't be proven. Even if you related an account of a supposed previous life in minute detail, and it was verified, it still doesn't prove that it was actually you living that life. You may have just tapped into the mindset of that person and absorbed his experiences. As far as being reincarnated as an animal or insect because of past misdeeds is concerned, I intuitively find that a bit silly. It just makes life something like a game of snakes and ladders. I believe a human being has a human soul and always remains so. An insect cannot migrate upwards to becoming a human, and a human cannot migrate downwards to becoming an insect. And regarding the hypothesis to explain population growth - that souls from other galaxies who have never incarnated as humans before, are queuing up to get onto planet earth, makes me chuckle. It would make a great comedy sketch! |

I hope we aren't all going in circles. I can understand more having to learn or complete things that I've gotten not quite right. But to be recurring my life over and over ...everyone else would be recurring too. That does not sound healthy to me. Deja vus are interesting, but they scare me too. I haven't had one for a long time. I don't miss them. |

I did read your blog entry Erin, the one on destiny and free will. I saw a picture of a maze in front of me with a snaketail at the entrance, the body encoiled through the maze, and at the other side a snake head. It was kinda cool |
