Erin, Thank you for writing this. It was a beautiful piece. There is not to much for me to say, except I have only thought about Guides and Angels helping on a one on one scale, but what you wrote about such a massive hand from Spirit is so inspiring and over-whelming it gives peace just to ponder such an effort. |

Thank you for your lovely blog, which prompted me to join this forum. The point you raised towards the end of your entry is extremely important. It's incumbent on those of us who witnessed the events of 9/11/01 to do what we can to shift and transform the energy of that tragedy towards healing and love. Perhaps the most tragic aspect of 9/11 is the fact that we in this country allowed (and still allow) it to be used as justification for more hatred and violence, in particular through the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but also by tolerating hateful and racist attitudes in our midst. Many of us in this country continue to feed the painful flames of hatred and separation that were ignited that day. In doing this we fail ourselves and all the spirit guides who rushed to intervene. In whatever measure we are conscious of and turning towards light in our own lives, our challenge is to let that radiance shine through us into the rest of the world. Transmuting hatred and violence into love and light is the best way we can honor those who passed that day and all the beautiful spirit guides who rallied to help. |

Seth McFarlane missed one of the planes which hit the World Trade Center. He missed it because he was drinking at the airport bar. So, I guess Family Guy was something his spirit guides knew the world couldn't do without.

What about the people that subconsciously (meaning, their higher selves) wanted to die? I would agree that spirit guides have tried to save lots of lives, but there must have been those who were pushed into going to work on time. For great accomplishments like spiritual growth, compassion, unity, teamwork, etc, on such a scale, it might be necessary for some to die, to even volunteer to die for the greater cause. Human life shouldn't per se be saved at all cost, though of course its all sacred. What society does with that unique growth-opportunity, is another story. Let's just say, it could have been better. While I think there's a lot of truth in your article, it sounds like it's from the perspective of someone, who believes in one lifetime on earth only. Which you don't. Hence my surprise What are your thoughts on this? |

HI Sivar, yes it's possible people did decide to go. In fact, there were people who saved a bunch of lives and kept on going, savign others, until the buildings collapsed. highly likely their higher selves allowed this to happen.

At the risk of starting a sh**storm, I want to say that while DO I find some holes in the "official version" of the events of 9/11, I also find many MORE holes in the "Loose Change" or "truther" version of the events of 9/11.

| Spirit guides can nudge, urge, maneuver and manipulate situations to cause different outcomes than would otherwise be had with no intervention. I find this topic fascinating. I'm wondering how much influence spirit guides actually exert on our physical world on a day to day basis? |

Erin, I find a few problems with the article. If I have my own free will, what right does my spirit guide have to interfere? Are spirit guides so omniscient that they really did know what the terrorists were planning? If so, why didn't they visit the terrorists on that fateful day and stop their alarm clocks instead? Why are spirit guides depicted as being 'good'. Aren't there any 'bad' ones? On any given day, at a busy office building, there are going to be any number of people who are late, early, who turn up on time, or who stay at home. Who are we to speculate why some were lucky and some weren't? You said: Some of those innocent people may have received an intuitive feeling but ignored it. Some may have used logic to override their intuition. Still others may have received an intuition not to go to work or to be late, but feared being fired so pushed themselves to make it to work on time. To imply that the ones who were late or who stayed at home, were 'saved' by their spirit guides, and the ones who died, could have been saved if they had paid attention to them, is, I find, quite incredible. |

Did spirit guides save lives on this day? Maybe! Maybe not! Did spirit guides also stand back while those who lost their lives made their choice? Maybe! Maybe not! My point is that it happened and is very sad. Whatever the reasons, we can suppose to the ends of the earth and still not know the truth of it. I simply honour all those lost and those who have lost.
